Back to its best

We are regular visitors, and generally pleased, it offers great value, including unlimited wine, food is usually very good, albeit portions a little small for a tall guy with a decent appitite. Recently choices have been introduced which is good, (previously a set menu only), and staff are good. A... read more

This used to be a good restaurant. Notwithstanding maintaining beautiful site, it has become a victim of its own success. Reallyt bad menu, and chef needs some training in what foods go with what. Dishes are clearly re-heated: monkfish on a bed of completely tasteless red cabbage, with broccoli (!) and potatoes. No seasoning in any of it. Wine is... More

La Ferme Ladoucur is small farmhouse hotel with just 2 suites and a perfect restaurant under the stars, 1st 3rd in a conservatory and 2nd 3rds very pleasantly laid out on a large patio surrounded by a vineyard, sheltered from the occasional wind by Pine and Fig trees. There is a good value set price menu that includes 4 traditional... More

party of 4 visited last night. starters did not correspond to menu and felt like reheated goatcheese, lamb was overcooked and dull, slice of cold hard camembert and supermarket type desert creme. restaurant used to be good 3 years ago, now overpriced (48 euroa) and accepts cash only. Nice garden ambiance otherwise.

There's a fixed menu without choice, but they do cater to alternatives where requested. Food uses nice, fresh ingredients, and is nicely presented - but is not fine dining. Ambiance is great, with the tables set outside overlooking the vineyard. Very popular, fully booked even weekdays (August) so advance booking recommended. Worth visiting.

I have going to this Resturant for the last 14 years during our vacation. The setting is beautiful. Sitting in a Vinyard with fig trees.the food is simple with a set menu. The wines are local and of poor quality. Our meal this year was poor at best. The lamb shank was so dry to the point of not being... More

We came to La Ferme both in April for my husband's birthday and in June for our anniversary. They serve only one set menu per day and their house wine and both times our experience has been remarkable. The restaurant is ran by a family and they know what they are doing. If you want to have good food and... More

We were in Provence and met a couple who had eaten at La Ferm Ladouceur. It was hard to find, but worth the drive. Wonderful food on the set menu with wines of the region. A rare treat.

We had such a great meal that we came back during our stay. The have a set menu which includes the local wine so it is great value for money. We visited it twice with our friends and we enjoyed the fact that the menu was set so we could chat our evening away and be surprised what was brought... More
