" For the romantics "

Set amongst the vineyards , a romantic informal venue. Simple 'set menu' , open in evenings only . Rather overrun with English clients,

We came to La Ferme both in April for my husband's birthday and in June for our anniversary. They serve only one set menu per day and their house wine and both times our experience has been remarkable. The restaurant is ran by a family and they know what they are doing. If you want to have good food and... More

We were in Provence and met a couple who had eaten at La Ferm Ladouceur. It was hard to find, but worth the drive. Wonderful food on the set menu with wines of the region. A rare treat.

Just one menue, changes every day, pricy but wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommended.

We had such a great meal that we came back during our stay. The have a set menu which includes the local wine so it is great value for money. We visited it twice with our friends and we enjoyed the fact that the menu was set so we could chat our evening away and be surprised what was brought... More

I built our second holiday week around a recommendation for LFD which was shared with me during morning surgery .A patient mentioned in passing that he had just returned from a short break at Le Baou in Ramatuelle .He mentioned this place as a good place to eat.We loved the informality (not French surely?) the Spanish moss ,the hewn limestone... The terrace is lovely but the standard ferme auberge no choice menu approach was overpriced. Our soup-based starter was certainly tasty but one felt somewhat let down that it was ultimately followed by a similar fruit juice based dessert and an uninspired presentation of a single slice of cheese. It didn't help that at the end we were informed that... More

The restaurant is in a delightful setting but the food is really poor. Starters and desserts looked and tasted like they were bought in the local hypermarket; the meat was second-rate and the wine cheap and nasty. And it's over-priced. I'm afraid we agreed with the reviewers who described it as a tourist trap.

Myself and my fiancée visited this little hidden gem based on advise from a friend - and weren't disappointed. The restaurant is trapped between the rear of a provincial villa and a small vineyard garden, giving a rustic, open air and warm dining ambience. The set menu is a great idea if you're open minded - all 4 courses were... More

We have visited this restaurant many times over the last few years and have always enjoyed lovely food in a stunning vineyard setting. This is not high end gastronomy: it is just beautifully cooked Provençal food. Last week we had a fish tartare starter, followed by lamb with Provençal vegetables and sautéed potatoes. The cheese course is simply a piece... More
