Back to its best

We are regular visitors, and generally pleased, it offers great value, including unlimited wine, food is usually very good, albeit portions a little small for a tall guy with a decent appitite. Recently choices have been introduced which is good, (previously a set menu only), and staff are good. A... read more

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about 10 years. We always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was never disappointing. But in the last few months a lot has changed. The food is now terrible!!! I hope more people will let them know how disappointed they are so perhaps they will change back to the way they... More

We have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and at different times of the year. We are never disappointed. The ambiance of the place is spectacular overlooking the vineyards. Service and quality of food is fantastic. This year it is 46 euros for a 4 course meal with wine included. I must add though that if... More

Think of a romantic setting in the south of France; a warm summer evening accompanied with a view to die for. Combine this with tasteless cold fish and aubergine, a cheap chicken legg with a port soaked onion, a boring piece of brie and as a dessert a piece of cheap cake right from a grocery. This outcome is a... More

I heard only wonderful things about ferme ladouceur so me and my boyfriend decided to eat at this establishment. There is a surprise menu for 46 euro and wine is included. After sitting down in the candlelit garden we sat down for the four course dinner. We received a cold codfilet with paprika garnish and a tasteless aubergine sauce. It... More

We have visited this restaurant several times after coming upon it on chance. It serves a set menu only, so fussy eaters should avoid, but the quality is great and as it includes unlimited house wine and water, the value is outstanding. Dinner is served on the candle lit terrace, so it's a very romantic spot, but we have also... More

I have eaten many times in Ladouceur but I do not know why I always forgot to review it. The place is lovely. When the temperature does not allow you to eat outside the inner rooms they have are nice and romantic, while in summer you can take advantage of the open porch and garden. The interior is equally pleasant... More

This used to be a good restaurant. Notwithstanding maintaining beautiful site, it has become a victim of its own success. Reallyt bad menu, and chef needs some training in what foods go with what. Dishes are clearly re-heated: monkfish on a bed of completely tasteless red cabbage, with broccoli (!) and potatoes. No seasoning in any of it. Wine is... More

La Ferme Ladoucur is small farmhouse hotel with just 2 suites and a perfect restaurant under the stars, 1st 3rd in a conservatory and 2nd 3rds very pleasantly laid out on a large patio surrounded by a vineyard, sheltered from the occasional wind by Pine and Fig trees. There is a good value set price menu that includes 4 traditional... More

party of 4 visited last night. starters did not correspond to menu and felt like reheated goatcheese, lamb was overcooked and dull, slice of cold hard camembert and supermarket type desert creme. restaurant used to be good 3 years ago, now overpriced (48 euroa) and accepts cash only. Nice garden ambiance otherwise.
