Very nice and cosy Bistro des Sables with excellent food and nice service. All dishes very tasty and well presented & served. We have been there 3 times in winter, spring and fall and never disappointed. Make sure you book a table before getting there because this is a small place and quite quickly full! If you'd like to have... More

We ate here twice, both times for Sunday lunch. It was gratifying to see so many French people eating here too. On both occasions the meal was of a very high standard, the 'marmite des pecheurs', a special of the day on our first visit was particularly memorable, and very affordable. On the second visit we chose from the standard... More

This bistro is not on the beach, but it has all the charm you expect of a small Provençal restaurant especially the canopy created by a huge tree (maybe a platane) which gives the courtyard not only shade but character. The food is excellent. We shared a superb tuna tartare with salad, and we both had the Daurade royale, grilled.... More

This restaurant is located on the far side of the main coastal road so it lacks any view but the ambience and friendly service more than make up for it. There was a decent children's menu which included pizza which my kids scored 9/10. There was a good choice of french dishes or pizza or pasta for the adults. We... More

We made a last minute change of plans to eat here based on recent reviews. It lives up to expectations - a real friendly/family type bistro with quality home style cooking and excellent service. Judging by the other diners, fresh fish and pizzas are very popular too (huge whole fish served at the table) We chose a fillet of beef... More

We hadn't booked but got lucky - it's on a quiet roadside in the commune of St Clair. Busy with locals when we arrived, we were immediately struck by the warm atmosphere of someone's (large) front room. Great, friendly service. My wife had the €27.50 set menu and loved her Dorade Royale main. I had the marinated sardines special and... More

We ate here twice late in November, both nights there were lots of local people in and a warm friendly reception was given by the owners. We thought the food was averidge to good, wine selection priced correctly.

We enjoyed three very good meals at this small and friendly Bistro, set in St Clair, just outside Le Lavandou. The ambience of the place is perfect and the food is delicious, whether its pizza from the wood fired oven, or beautifully prepared fish. (try dourade) I'd also recommend the traditional French fish soup, and for a dessert, the apple... More
