The place was recomended by the taxi driver and we were not disapointed. This exactly waht you can expect from the big fish restraunt in the best place in town - in the center of the promenade. Perfect & quick service, my siole grilled was one of the best , I ever eat, the same about veal turnedo of my... More

We went to the Brasserie La Toche yesterday evening, and straight away it was not what it promised to be: we had gone in earlier in the day to reserve, but when we got there they had to cobble two tables together for the four of us, as they had not reserved a table at all. There was no 'plat... More

Some of the reviews here do not match our experience - so you must judge for yourselves of course. There was nothing wrong with the meal we had here. Professional service, but no more. Comfortable seating, but no more. The food was good of its type - langoustines lovely, fresh and well cooked - but so they ought to be.... More

It's well situated and boasts a good ambiance - you do go there to be seen, and the mega yachts spill their contingents straight on to the Auberge's terrace! It's of course not cheap, but there is some capable cooking that gives it the three stars. The fish soup is sensational, perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavour from the rock... More

We tried Auberge du Port one lunchtime, lured in by the formule du midi 2 course lunchtime offer, which offers good value compared to the high prices in the evening. The setting is smart, on the promenade front. Once seated, it becomes very hard-sell – no mention of the lunchtime special offer unless you ask, and they try and up-sell... More

We ate here 2 nights on our recent holiday. Food was very good. Loved the Italian Burger. Chicken nuggets for the children were home made too. Also enjoyed the desserts. Waitress was very friendly. Only slight niggle was that on the 2nd night when we checked the bill we realized we had been charged 8 euros for the children's drinks... More

This is actually two restaurants sharing the same shellfish stand and kitchen. At the Auberge, they wheel around large fishes for you to look at, priced per 100g, about 8 or 9 euros per 100g. Thus a 900g fish between two will cost 72 (or 81) euros. We watched the fishes on ice get wheeled around all evening without a... More

We had a lunch in this restaurant. The service was too slow: we waited 20 min for a glas of champagne and one hour for a main course. The food was ok, but not delicious: tha pasta was overcooked. We paid for two people with a vine 224 Eur, which was the biggest bill in Bandol. The only advantage of... More
