Nice location, decent tourist fare

We tried Les Longitudes but it was closed, unfortunately, so this was the next open place we found. Very pleasant location overlooking the sail boats. The kids and missus took full advantage of the blankets on offer to keep the chill out after a hot day on the beach. No kids menu but I wouldn't... read more

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my 60th birthday at and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink were excellent and we had a very enjoyable evening. We would certainly visit if we were in Rochefort again. Highly recommended.

Cap Nell is next to our hotel la Corderie. The menu was printed simply, but held a great surprise. I ordered Asiette Phare (lighthouse platter i think). My wife got a prix fixe surf and turf. The platter had a large selection of what simply is everything. But the surprising discovery is that it was a large pile of everything.... More

Great setting by harbour and good value food. Good seafood and oysters. Some interesting mains but sadly let down by run of the mill desserts. Very friendly staff and friendly the children old and young there unlike recent postings Definitely worth a try for the view if nothing else. None of the other listings come close for the voew

We decided to stay inside because this early July evening was rather chilly. The restaurant has a bistro style and the the atmosphere is cosy maritime without being pretentious. A very pleasant female waiter, who obviously had too many tables to take care of, but the food arrived after a while. The sword fish was very good, and the mullet... More

We went to this restaurant today with our 23 month old son and the only kind thing I can say about this place is that one lady gave us a booster seat for him. The staff sat us at the worst table and then simply ignored our presence, serving others who arrived after us. No drinks, no food, no courtesy.... More

The restaurant is very well located overlooking the pleasure port and just behind the corderie royale. The outdoor terrace is a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The terrace was more or less full when we were there and there were people eating inside as well. Service was efficient and the staff friendly and attentive. The... More

Three attempts to cook a small pave of salmon is not good enough for a supposed seafood restaurant. Seafood starters and desserts all appeared to be bought-in so I don't suppose the chef was that busy on a Sunday night. Waitress was friendly and helpful but kitchen needs to improve.

Slow service but one of the few restaurants open on a Monday night and very good food. The restaurant is also easy walking distance from La Corderie, where we were staying.

This was our last meal out of our holidays and we went with four good friends. The restaurant is situated next to the yacht harbour and currently there is a replica of Magellans ship at the Quay with a history alongside for a few Euros to visit. The Restaurant food was excellent at always although the service was a little... More
