Traditional French Restaurant

If you want a "Typical" traditional French restaurant, this is it! Service is friendly and good, over the course of 4 meals every dish the four of us ordered was excellent (my friend was a sous chef in the Dorchester), and I am very much looking forward to dinner there tomorrow with our daughter... read more

Stayed overnight at Ibis Styles just down the road. We were a family group of 4 adults and 3 youngsters. The staff were extremely helpful and only too happy to put tables together to accommodate us. We were instantly at ease as they went out of their way to speak English to the children. The food was truly excellent and... More

This is place is a must for us every year, just before we board the ferry to come home. It's the last highlight of our holiday as the moules and frites are the best we have ever had anywhere in France! One year we were late arriving and they hurried our order through so we wouldn't be late for the... More

Varied menu including traditional escargot that my husband very much enjoyed. My lamb chops were cooked to perfection if a little fatty. Service good and friendly. Dietary requirement was important and attended to by waiter without issues. Menu is quite extensive and price very reasonable. 2 drinks each, and 2 courses each 57.90 euros. Close to parking.

The place was full when we arrived. The service was okay as they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food, however, was arguably the worst food I haver experienced in a restaurant anywhere in the world. The mussels looked anaemic, the chips were rubber and the flamenkuchen was smothered in a thick rancid layer of cheese.

Ate here several times as always - well musseled out after the first pot, but can also recommend their smoked salmon, dry smoked and very tasty. Food always excellent here. Last visit slightly marred by the Manager coming in and being rude and aggressive to staff, chefs and bar staff. Would not like to see that again, felt was totally... More

Where to start poor service from a surly waitress followed by very poor food including burnt lamb chops, soggy microwaved jacket potatoe, chips that were re heated and very greasy. All very sub standard take our advice visit the takeaway kebab across the street!!!

very average, albeit reasonably priced. service erratic. a couple of over -cooked dishes sent back and replaced by undercooked dishes. Calais has many better options worth exploring.

Hello, thank you for choosing the coffee paris for your meal. you say that the prices are reasonable but the service and cooking are not great; I noted well and will arrange so that it does not reproduce this anymore! I read your message to all of my team to be more responsive to customers. Do not hesitate to renew... More
