Nice jolly Bar/Restaurant full of locals. Don't miss the bowls of Moules! Wine by the carif and all pleasantly served.

An over night stay in Calais on our way south we ate here, my Husband had the menu du jour, it was Maigret de Canard with a peach sauce & Dauphinoise potatoes, where he said it was cooked to his liking and tasty there was only half of a duck breast, the dessert was, he said very good but for... Staff were very good and the location is good but the food was very meaty. My partners goats cheese salad was topped with a mound of bacon which she wasn't expecting since it wasn't mentioned in the menu and which drowned out the flavour of the goats cheese. I had the taster of 3 regional dishes, a beef stew, a... More

Stopped here for a meal as it looked nice from thee outside. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food ok but not great. Not that cheap either. Food is a mix of French and Western. Ok but wouldn't go back.

Was there on 1st of may lunch. It's a very typical french restaurant for the normal people for everyday or even a family lunch/dinner. If I got it right, big majority were french guests. Interior is a timeless style as you can find in a lot of french restaurants / brasseries since the 1970s .Service was very fast, friendly and... More

If you're looking for authentic French cuisine, this is not really the place. Food was fine, but a little pricey for what we got. Didn't see any locals there. Says enough

What a bizarre place, when you walk in the seating is so grubby and worn and aged and yet the top floor has been completely refurbished and looks spotlessly clean. A very strange place of two halves! Food was ok, not spectacular , and sadly they insisted on keeping the door open so we had to sit with our coats... More

After 1.5 days of amazing food, this restaurant paled in comparison. Good if you wanted a quick, no fuss meal. Bone marrow was gigantic but good.

Being in calais just by chance, and even with knowing it's not luxury place to eat, but was really disappointing all . Tasteless and bizarre food with doubt quality of freshness.. And i didn't feel good after. i would not recommend this place.
