Lovely meal at the Quai

The Quai is in a scenic area overlooking the water and the cathedral. We had a lovely meal, highlights were the starter assortment to share and the local speciality 'ficelle' which is a rich stuffed savoury pancake. Muscadet wine was very reasonably priced and delicious.

On a one night stop in Amiens, we strolled down to Rue Belu to check out what was on offer. Le Quai looked attractive and we were not disappointed - good food and good value.

we loved this place and had amazing food....oysters, steak, lamb and excellent wine. Although we speak some French, the waiters were really helpful and very friendly...thanks for a lovely night!

Delicious French food and desserts in the most beautiful place in Amiens! The staff is not that nice sometimes, but just go for the food! Can be pricy depending on what you order!

This bistrot-type restaurant is along the Somme river along with a selection of other restaurants. Although Le Quai is a bit pricey, the food is very good and the service extremely efficient. I would recommend the mille-feuilles de filet de boeuf, excellent, and the sorbets on the dessert menu are truly worth the wait. You can get the selection of... More

Great Food, excellent atmosphere, stunning location, and value for money - excellent French cuisine and an extensive wine list - To avoid disappointment book an open air table in the restaurant but avoid the gazebo across the pavement as it gets very noisy. A little school French will get you by with the staff.

My family and i decided to visit Amiens to have dinner as we were staying in a hotel in Albert which we regretted as the village was very small, with very few restaurants to eat. The food was good in Le Quai, good quality and not too expensive. However, we struggled to comunicate with the waitiors as they could hardly... More

Really nice location by the river. Good choice of food, well presented, good quality. Don't rush you, which is nice, wine is a good price. The choice of coffee and mini desserts is well worth it, nice touch.

You would go to this restaurant for the location...looking onto the river and cathedral. The large outdoor sitting area seems to attract large groups as well as couples leading to a loud atmosphere. On our visit the staff were really stretched and struggling to meet everyones needs.Food was ok.

We only had the 1 night in Amiens and the hotel suggested we should walk down to the river for our evening meal. There is a big choice of riverside restaurants to choose from so is very much a lucky dip if you are not local. We chose "Le Quai" and very pleased we did. The staff were attentive without... More
