I really thought I might be writing a rave review for this restaurant as when we arrived it was shaping up to be everything you could ask for however in the end we were slightly let down. The location is nice for a summers evening sitting outside in the shade of the Cathedral, it is literally right opposite. The menu's... More

We went into last night especially to dine here as it was recommended by our host but was extremely disappointed. The restaurant has a digital menu board in front of the menu which was slow so their was a queue of potential clients just waiting to see if they fancied dining there... Not a good sign! The restaurant was half... More

Apparently it's now called Oz'ange and no longer the Salmon house which is still on the card machine. Interior is modern and rather minimalistic. Place was empty when I walked in on a monday but when I left 90 minutes later it was 1/3 full. 2 pretty decent waiters and 2 ladies who stood around smiling. Instead of bread I... More

You don't have to be a salmon addict to eat here but if you are you will not be disappointed. A good selection with or without salmon and very good value. Staff friendly, no pretentions and, situated right next to the cathedral, a great location.

We went here because it was Monday night and not much open. Initial welcome good, we were put upstairs on a tiny table for 2. Took a while to get the menu. When our wine was placed on the empty 4 seater table beside us we asked could we move there to have more room and were abruptly told "no..that... More

Returning from Normandy, we held a last stop in Amiens to visit the Cathedral. We found this nice restaurant, The salmon house, next to the cathedral. From the outside it looked quite fancy, but their prices are incredibly reasonable, even cheap. We each took one salad dish(€10-€13) because we had eaten to much over the past days in Normandy and... Good experience and nice fish restaurant. Noting special, and nicely situated next to the Cathedral Next to fish they also serve other dishes which I cannot jugde as I did not try them. The outside of the restaurant (red and gold) give it an exclusive look, but the food is as you might expect from any fish restaurant. Reasoanable price

Great spot right near the cathedral. Strange that the name is in English but makes it memorable I guess. Couldn't fault the food on the set menu at under €30 I had duo of smoked salmon and foie gras followed by stuffed guinea fowl (so it's not all salmon) and other half had a pancake of salmon in a lovely... We had a table on the first floor which was a little on the packed side and it was a little annoying to keep getting nudges by the waitress as she squeezed through to other tables - but having said that the atmosphere was very good and no doubt enhanced by the way the room was laid out. We were... More
