Dined here in August, on a windy evening so everyone was indoors and not sitting out by the water. On a fine night it would be a lovely place to eat. A wide choice of dishes (a lot of pork!) on the menu and some good set menus to pick from. The food was good wholesome stuff and the staff... More

Stopped off in Amiens a couple of weeks ago and visited this restaurant for about the fifth time , I cannot think why I have not reviewed it before. Sitting on the edge of the River (Somme?) in the centre of Amiens and about 500 yards from the magnificent cathederal the location alone makes it worth visiting. Having said that... More

This restaurant is in a row of restaurants by the River Somme. The waiters were friendly and helpful. We ordered from the set menu and the food was very good. The overall cost including a pastis each before the meal and a bottle of wine with the meal was around Euros 80 for two people.

I visited this restaurant last Wednesday night and it was a real find. If you don't like pork than this restaurant really isn't for you, however, they did have salmon on the kids menu. From the look of the menu (they even have one in English which is rare in this region) they use every part of the pig but... More

After 7.30 the restaurant got busy but the service was good and their love of pork shone through. The wine list was not over expensive and the house wine was very palatable.enjoy!

Ate here last night from the 29.90 euro 3 course set menu. For starters had the traditional crepe filled with mushrooms, ham and cheese, and goats cheese with apple. Both very good. For mains had suckling pork with saute potatoes and mix veg terrain, and sea bass with sweet potato mash, again both very tasty and nicely presented. For desserts... More

Went here with my family and was met with an utterly confused service. We actually were several tables who were almost amused by the general incompetence. You had to repeat your orders several times, even after ordering a set menu. Tables empty of drinks rendered no action, we and others had to repeat our wine and drink orders. Think Fawlty... More

Saint Leu has a lot of tourist joints. We discovered that among them there are only two that draw lots of locals, this one based on pork products and the restaurant next door that appears (we didn't dine there) to be equally good focusing on seafood. We had an excellent meal, and I would recommend this to friends, or those... More

Didn't finish up actually eating here even though I did want to. Staff ignored us and were unhelpful so we walked out. They were not busy. Biggest bunch of dropkicks we struck in France.

Took a night off the gourmet food train and headed for some down to earth cuisine. We weren't disappointed. I had a lovely sweet potato soup (I passed on the smoked salmon accompaniment in trying not to eat so much). Spouse had the house terrine (pork, as in the name of the restaurant). Deemed acceptable. I then had the grilled... More
