Saint Leu has a lot of tourist joints. We discovered that among them there are only two that draw lots of locals, this one based on pork products and the restaurant next door that appears (we didn't dine there) to be equally good focusing on seafood. We had an excellent meal, and I would recommend this to friends, or those... More

Didn't finish up actually eating here even though I did want to. Staff ignored us and were unhelpful so we walked out. They were not busy. Biggest bunch of dropkicks we struck in France.

Took a night off the gourmet food train and headed for some down to earth cuisine. We weren't disappointed. I had a lovely sweet potato soup (I passed on the smoked salmon accompaniment in trying not to eat so much). Spouse had the house terrine (pork, as in the name of the restaurant). Deemed acceptable. I then had the grilled... More

we ate here on a rainy night in october and were lucky to get in - such a buzzy restaurant, full of local youngsters having a wonderful time. our waitress was charming and helpful and had far better english than i had french, and was delightful about helping us negotiate our way. I had kir royale to start – the... More

This is a place for serios foodies. The meat platter we ordered for 2 people easily served the four of us. The startes and the main courses were huge and of very good quality , not a place to eat if you don't have much time or a big appetite. We all ordered different meals and each one was as good... More

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening with some friends. The waiter was 'correct' in his service but not very friendly (no smiles, no talking, just serving). The food was varying, but no winners here. The foie gras as a starter was good, and nicely presented, although it was cold. The restaurant is specialized in porc, but the... More

When we saw this place on Trip Adviser we took it as a bit of a challenge. A place that just sells pork! When we looked at the menu, it was of course in French, and normaly we can work out what things are, but on this occasion we struggled a bit. When we ordered our main course the waiter... More

Ate here (table for two) on the 4th January 2013 having picked the place more or less at random. The location is probably quite touristy but on this date most of the clientele appeared to be local. Entrees were fine (Ficelle de Picardie in my case) and we both had what turned out to be a large amount of pork... More

This is a tourist restaurant right on the canal in Amiens and to be honest ,I expected it to be overpriced but was pleasantly suprised, it was less then a pub meal here. I must admit it was a blind choice as I can neither speak nor read French, all I knew was that it was a pork dish. Simple,... More
