We were staying at the Mercure Amiens hotel and decided to dine at the hotel restaurant for dinner one evening. They don't open until 7:00, like most restaurants in Amiens, but we were promptly seated when we arrived at 7:00. The restaurant filled up quickly, and there was only one waitress who was taking care of all of the tables... More

We were staying at the ibis styles down the road, but got a 10% voucher to eat at l'Echanson. The menu offered reasonable choice including local specialities (I had Andouillettes), and the food was good quality. However even with the discount it was not particularly cheap (we had a bottle of wine, and water too). A safe bet, but better... More

None of the staff speak a word of English, and even with my basic french we were just not getting anywhere. The hotel wasnt busy so we were surprised that they had run out of the 2 main courses of Salmon and Steak by 8pm.... We ended up having the chicken curry which was about 1/2 a sliced breast drizzled... More

It was with some trepidation that we decided to eat at the hotel. We were staying there and as it was cold and wet we didn't really feel like roaming around trying to find somewhere to eat. An earlier reviewer, "waltonwanderer" gave it only two stars. Perhaps they also wished you had gone elsewhere as you so peevishly state. Perhaps... More

we were staying two nights at this Mercure Hotel and as only I feltlike a meal, I decided to eat in hotel restaurant. Surprisingly good food. I had ficelle de Picardie (wraps of mushroom and ham) - delicious; and scallops on shredded leeks - €ooked just right. Bice glass of Bandol rose

We were staying in the Mercure and when I researched this restaurant I did so not realising it was in the Mercure. Owing to few Trip advisor reviews i cross referenced with a French site which had many more reviews which all seemed positive. Since we were tired and my little girl had a cold we decided to eat in... More
