Based on TA reviews, my husband & I headed to this restaurant. We were the first there at 7 pm & the chef wasn't quite ready. That was fine - we weren't in a hurry. Big plus for us was that he could speak to us & explain the menu in English! The food was a good fix of Vietnamese... More

We arrived here for lunch on our way back from Paris, and were told that they were closing, but the waitress had a word with the kitchen and they said that they would serve us.Although they were closing we were not limited and could choose what we wanted from the menu, and all the dishes were explained by the owner... Had a fantastic meal. Staff talked us through the menu and were friendly and helpful. Meal came to 34euro with one starter and two main courses. Everything was freshly cooked and the spring rolls were superb.

I had read lots of reviews of Chez Tung, so was very keen to try it out. Chez Tung is on a small side street and quite simple in terms of decor. Mr Tung, the owner and chef, made me feel very welcome on a quiet Tuesday night. I ordered the house speciality, a dish consisting of vermicelli noodles, beef... More

Absolutely first class dining experience. We struggled to find the place having read the reviews on here but it is well worth the effort! Tung, the part owner (with his French wife) is clearly passionate and it shows. He talked us through the menu and was very flexible in meeting our dining needs. My 3 year old daughter wanted noodles... More

Friendly welcome, metal tables, menu on the blackboard and a choice of Thai based flavours make this a good choice for something different. We shared the two entreés- tiny prawn nems and sausages with citronelle followed by a recommended bun- Thai salad of lettuce, cucumber, vermicelli, slices of beef with peanuts and nems all flavoured with basil, mint and fish... Checked out Trip Adviser and Vietnamese sounded really nice. We had our little daughter with us and it was quite late, the Owner was so friendly to my daughter he brought her cookies, bubble gum water and she was really happy. The food was amazing, they don't have too much choice ( which is usually a good sign). The Desserts... More

We were visiting Amiens so checked out Restaurants on Tripadvisor - and we're very glad we did. Chez Tung is small and on on side street, half way between the Cathedral and the St Leu district. The owner is very amicable and as another reviewer has pointed out, the restaurant has loyal, local customers who are greeted as old friends,... More

A delicious discovery! By chance we were walking past, smelled the cooking, and stopped to investgate. What a lucky find it was. The menu is small, but the flavours piquant, and prices reasonable enought to attract what looked like a loyal local clientele. The service is unpretentious and very friendly. The main courses were fusion Vietnamese, and the desserts French.... More
