Whenever I go to Amiens, I have to have one meal at T'chiot Zinc, they cook the loveliest "ficelles picardes", portions are generous, chilled bottled cider goes well with it, true amateurs have to sample the "os à moelle" (marrow bones), and caqhuse too. A real local reference for true Picardie lovers. Good value restaurant overall, only à short walk... More

Excellent food, service and friendly staff. We arrived just after 7pm on a weekday, but within a few minutes the place was filling up. We had a 'set menu' 4 courses ( which included many local dishes and a good selection to choose from) was really good value and the food was well cooked and presented. Portions were huge. Good... Had to queue for a table in the evening; any restaurant that seats 75 and is full on a Wednesday in low season must be good. The restaurant was mainly full of locals (singletons, couples and small parties) of all ages rather than foreign tourists. The menu was classic French with many regional specialities. The staff speak English so could... More

If you want a delicious meal served by enthusiastic staff then this is the place for you. I had a delicious slice of salmon followed by the largest creme caramel I have ever seen. The tourist menus are to be recommended.

Lovely and traditional restaurant. Do not eat too much before to go as you will leave with a full stomach :) smalls rooms inside, very nice for a quiet meal with friends or family.

We had lunch there. Very good food, especially in the fixed price menus. We had oysters (my wife) and prawns (me) followed by pork and then cheese. relatively low cost wines, especially the pichets; we had 50cl of the rose. Relatively quick service. The loos are individual compartments, used by both men and women.

The food is not too adventurous here, more home cooked. If it is not on the menu then ask, they are very obliging. Very busy at peak time so booking may be necessary.

Had a lovely meal and due to its cozy atmosphere I got talking to a couple in the next table a little later and group of w sat near by and joined the conversation. The food was delicious and good value for money. I had planned to eat there the following night but to my disappointment it was closed. Would... More

We went on an evening in August, sat inside. Food was excellent, especially the foie gras choux, everything very good, service slow but it was full inside and out. Various set price menus from 21 euros. Drinks expensive. We tried to go again but they were full - if weather's bad then book since most seating is outside.
