Over priced, but still kind of worth it if you are tired and need a restroom

really, really expensive for what you get, but worth going to to get away from the crowds. We were hot and tired and saw the entry line was not too long, we sat down and ordered some water while waiting for our menu. Little did we expect it to be 49euros for three courses, and that bottle of... read more

Bad mood, angry straff, bad service, bad choice, very abusive prices for what we had. The only amazing think is their famous "omelette", but the price shown outside is not actually available once inside (???). Also, the salmon omelet is just the plain omelet served on three salmon sticks. Don't expect more. The prices are just huge. A shame. Expect... More

I received a recommendation to visit La Mere Poulard from a French colleague. He raced about he famous omelette. On a visit to the Isle I remembered the tip and called ahead to reserve a table for my wife, 8 years old son and I. It was clear when we arrived it was a wise choice to book ahead. You... More

Prices are ridiculously high especially at dinner!!! If you want to have a pleasant stay do not go there. We were really surprised and the waiters were not nice at all!!!

This highly recommended restaurant was known for its fluffy omelets. Upon arrival it is very impressive to see a cook mix up a fluffy batter and put it in a special pan in an open fire. Our group of six was excited and hungry. Oh my, were we disappointed. Our omelets were indeed fluffy but most were just foamy, runny... More

This restaurant is horrible. Bad service - the wait staff was not friendly at all. The vegetable soup had absolutely no taste. My husband and I even discussed how someone would have to try hard to make such a bland soup. The omelets are horrible. They are not even really cooked. It seemed like some whipped up egg that had... Too embarrassed to leave when we found out 39 euros for an omelet and we could not share. How stupid we were. Worst omelet ever. One was dry, one was pouring out uncooked foam. No one checks to see how it was. Please dont make our mistake. Worst meal in france

Arrived at 7pm and sat by the window. Ordered the 18 Euro menu. Choice of courses. Chose entree of terrine de campagne which was delicious and beautifully presented. Had chicken with a mushroom cream sauce and chips for main course. Very tasty. Had chocolate mousse for dessert which melted in our mouth. Had a bottle of rose with our meal.... More

You will be totally impressed and amazed by how soft the popular omelet is when you first take a bite of it or two. BUT at the same time, you might be disappointed of the taste of it if you expect it too much. It's just a omelet made of egg white, salt, and a little bit of york. I... More
