Twice I visited the Mont St Michel, twice I ate at La Mere Poulard's. A visit to this amazing place would not be complete without it! I can t imagine how many eggs this place goes through a day... The open kitchen in the entrance just adds to the charm!

The atmosphere is great, but the food is average. The service ok. We booked it one week before the dinner because we thought there were many people, but there were just a few table (mostly couples). It is far too expensive for what you have. My omelette was burnt and I asked to change my fork because it was terribly... More

yes it's a tourist trap and paying 39 euros for an omelet might seem crazy but you'll probably go to t Mont Saint Michel and "la mere poulard" once in your life and it's worth the trip! The omelet is amazing, the service is very good, the place is gorgeous!

My husband and I visited for lunch on my birthday and we'd heard great things about the Omelettes. Suffice it to say that they were even better than I'd imagined. The service was excellent, and we will certainly be making a return trip in the near future!

Surely overpriced for what you get, but as a one time experience, trying out the world famous omelette can be a fun diversion. During the day they serve a half price menu that includes coffee and a small desert, so you can taste the omelette without breaking into your savings account. The restaurant (the "original" one, first on your left... More

Many of us see a picture of Mont St Michel and say, "I have to go there!" Next, even the shallowest research brings up the restaurant, La Mere Poulard and the world-famous omelets. In high tourist season, this restaurant is very crowded for lunch and dinner and many reviewers complain about long waits, slow service, high costs, and less-than-friendly wait... More

I had my reservations (pun intended) about trying out La Mere Poulard, having seen the prices on the menu etc. However, my fears were completely assuaged the moment my wife and I stepped through the doors to be greeted by the head waiter. From the beginning of the evening to the end the service was helpful and friendly, with the... More

Managed to try the famous omelette at La Mere Poulard. It was interesting to watch the chef cooking the famous omelette in the traditional manner at the ground floor kitchen. We couldn't manage to get a table at ground floor so have to settle for seating on first floor. Service was slow and our omelette order was forgotten after waiting... More

Just recently I have had the chance to enjoy a long, sought-after honeymoon with my wife in France. As we had time on our hands we enjoyed the sights of Paris. I remember that we asked one of the locals about the best food-serving restaurant in the area; and they pointed to La Mere Poulard as one of the best.... More

I was in this restaurant with my family and we really enjoy the meal. The service was wonderful and the food amazing. When I return to France for sure I will return to La Mere Poulard too. I really recommend this restaurant.
