Good for snacks

It is interesting to see how the famous omelet is made. The restaurant is not quite as busy at dinner time. The price is expensive for the average food that they served. The meal is not unforgivable except the famous omelet. I should have just gone there for the omelet. There are few good sea... read more

Nothing more to say than my title. We ate here for the famous Omelet it was unique cooked over an open flame. We are glad to have done this but if you do not want a unique meal walk up the Mount further there are several better places with a view of the bay or other areas for less money.... More

This was one of those things that you do just because you're there. It was extremely, extremely expensive for what it was, the famed 'omelette' - but also paid 6 Euro for an espresso - yes, a short black! Service is quite snooty, not very welcoming. Have done it, but won't bother to do it again.

You can still watch the omelet's being made over the fire from the window at this Restaurant, without paying 30 Euro minimum for breakfast for one. Go across the street and have a great cup of coffee made for you and a quiche warmed up as well. It is a 10th of the cost and you will be satisfied.

I know this is well known and we visited, however, our souffle was not to our liking but the bread, wine and ambience was worth it.

My wife had tried that famed omlette somewhere in mont saint michel previously and was not super impressed. So we decided to try the real mccoy. It was definitely good. However it is really way expensive for what is essentially a well beaten and baked omlette. However it is novel and therefore must be worth it. The walls had photos... More

We heard a great deal about this famous restaurant, the omelette and all. We had a confirmed reservation via email three weeks before, but when we arrived they had no record of us. Without a reservation, we got a table facing the construction site ... With several other tables available. It took 55 minutes to get our food and the... More

We were her June 8, 2015. Had heard about the famous omelettes but found out too late that not only are they ridiculously over-priced but they won't let you share. Each person at the table has to order food!! We are in our 60's and almost always share main dishes. The staff was not friendly and the omelette was mediocre... More
