You have to go out of your way to find this place and Tourcoing is not a tourist destination but if you are in lille or neighborhood towns, it is well worth a detour. The bajeux family has been at the helm for two generations . Decor has been updated and food is traditional French with a twist. Excellent, fresh... More

Located in a nondescript suburb of Lille, this fabulous restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is delicious, the service pleasant and professional, and the setting relaxing. Look out for the cheese tray witrh its 35 or so varieties. It's very reasonably priced, to boot. A culinary experience!

A friend found this restaurant during a stay in Roubaix. At first the location is very disconcerting - it does not feel like it is in a good part of town. Once inside we could only speak highly of this restaurant. The food is beautifully presented and tasty and the prices very reasonable (we tried the menu where different glasses... More

In October 2012 our small travel group visited Lannoy for a two day stay which is a city/town just outside Lille, France. A review has been submitted and accepted by Trip Advisor for the accomodation used by the group, which was Chateau Corcelette. Whilst at the Chateau, the patron was asked to recommend a restuarant to visit for the evening meal.... More

My friend, who is French, treated me to a meal in this restaurant. He had heard from others how good it is. It is in Tourcoing near Lille, so off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. There is a small garden at the back to have an aperitif and "amuse-gueules" before the main meal. I had the 29... More

Ok, where do we start ... Based on the previous review reports, I had hoped to find a hidden gem, a sparkle of hope now French gastronomy is clearly on its decline due to the blind and pretentious attitude of chefs and critics, and due to the lack of innovation (such as international inspiration). Want an example? Take the former... More

We think this is one of the nicest restaurants we have experienced on our trip to France. Walking into the restaurant the decor is so impressive with beautiful table cloths and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy an aperitif on warmer days. There were so many extra touches and the hostess was very knowledgable on anything we asked and spoke... More

Although away from the main city, the restaurant was amazing. Serving traditional northern France food, it also provides the friendly-yet-formal service expected in the region. The canard in cheese sauce was absolutely fabulous. Although I wasn't thrilled with the creme brûlée (it was a touch overdone), the little extra foods given for free (including amazing bread, a gout de maison... More
