Located in the Rue de Lille, next to the Cathedral in the historical town of Boulogne s/ Mer. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is typically Breton. The cider, both in bottles or on draught, is supplied from a cooperative in the Côtes d'Armor. A must if you like typical Breton food.

We had 2 menus for €11,9 and €13,9. One salty, one sweet crepe and drink & coffee. With €11,9 we got a Jambon-Fromage-Egg (JFE) crepe and with €13,9 we had free choice of salty crepe yet they mistakenly served us 2 JFE. Also the bill mistakenly included 2 drinks separate from menu which was rectified after my mentioning. Service rather... More

We went there based on the tripadvisor reviews. We only had the sweet pancakes, not the salty ones, but I'm pretty sure I can bake a better pancake myself. And I definitely had better, even in Belgium. I'd rather try some of the other restaurants if I'd ever be in the neighbourhood again.

Just stopped here for a light lunch. Lovely potato omelette and a beer. Quite delicious! The wife had quiche which was as nice so they don't just do pancakes.

Crêperie Saint-Michel offers some very delicious pancakes. All pancakes (salt + sweet) are freshly made with all kind of extras (fruit, chicken, chocolat, bacon, ...). Excellent idea for a meal or dessert!

We have just visited Boulogne for a day trip with the children. We were taking advantage of the £20 return fare celebrating the tunnel's 20th anniversary. The weather was cold and damp and as we had arrived very early by 10.30am we were in need of a drink and needed somewhere to warm up. The owner was a charming lady... More

Crepes were good, especially the dessert's one, but they forgot to pit the cheese into my salty 'one, and they don't put the garniture inside crepes, but on it. Nothing bad, but nothing worth the trip.

Our family recently had an evening meal at the Creperie. The food was tasty enough - my children had omelettes. I had a crepe that was topped with sausage. The food was quite nice although perhaps not ideal for an evening meal. It was also quite expensive, but to be fair the price was comparable to other restaurants nearby. We... More

Really nothing special, not the nice thin crepes as in Bretagne or Normandy. Not really cheap and not a lot of choices. We where here with 2 kids, but really don't bother.

Because I am wheat sensitive, many French patisserie treats are ruled out for me. However, all these savoury crepes are make with Buckwheat, called Ble noir, or Sarrasin. This meant I could have whatever I wanted. The cheese (if wanted) is melted in the crepe, while the other ingredients are put on top, a bit like a pizza. My only... More
