We happened upon this restaurant which is just off the main square in Arras, and thought it looked promising as there were plenty of people eating there already and we liked the look of the Bistro type interior. We both love duck - which was fortunate as we soon realised that this restaurant specialised in all things Duck and Goose!... More

Being simple travellers we tend to go to the nearest nicest looking eatery we can find. As the town was very busy we opted for the first place that could fit us in. Unfortunately we didn't spot that it was a speciality restaurant and non of us fancied duck. After a chat with a very helpful waitress we opted for... More

Duck is the best choice. We had dinner and shared foie gras - delicious with a generous amount of bread/toast. The cassoulet was delicious and very filling. The duck breast with sauce natur was less so and the duck was a bit chewy. The potatoes ordered as extra were good. The cafe gourmand was a good choice for dessert. The... More

Just perfect! Quality of the ingredients (especially the duck and the goose liver!) is outstanding. The cassoulet is just perfect as it should be. The confit de canard is also something you will remember if you try it. In terms of wines, go for the Cahors which matches the duck just right. Service is very good as well, helpful people... More

Had an evening meal here in October. Very French and specialising in duck which excellent. We had warm Camembert on a salad bed followed by roast duck with a choice of sauces and shared a baked apple for desert. Would recommend a visit here for the typical French ambience.

Having enjoyed a meal here last year we passed by mid afternoon (14/9). and noted that the 'heures d'ouverture' are advertised as 7/7 so we returned that evening at 7.30 to find the restaurant closed up and in darkness. A check on the website is equally vague about opening hours. We went elsewhere.

Our scend visit to Arras but this time we were staying in the town. It was fairly late when we returned from our trip out so we just wandered to the centre to see what looked nice. Le Domaine de Chavagnac certainly looked the part and we were attracted as much b the ambience as anything. It was only after... More

Two years ago whilst in Arras, we had a most enjoyable Sunday lunch here sitting outside in the sunshine and said that if we ever came back, we would try dinner here too. Well we ceratinly weren't disapointed. There were 5 of us (4 adults and one child (13)) last night (19/04/14) and we were the only non-french people in... More

We had lunch in this restaurant on 27th of December 2013. My spouse and I ordered the lunch of the day (10,90 euros without drinks) and our granddaughter had a child menu (8,80 euro soft drink included). You could choose out of two entrees, two main courses and two desserts. They call it the Quick menu. All the tables of... More
