Having enjoyed a meal here last year we passed by mid afternoon (14/9). and noted that the 'heures d'ouverture' are advertised as 7/7 so we returned that evening at 7.30 to find the restaurant closed up and in darkness. A check on the website is equally vague about opening hours. We went elsewhere.

Our scend visit to Arras but this time we were staying in the town. It was fairly late when we returned from our trip out so we just wandered to the centre to see what looked nice. Le Domaine de Chavagnac certainly looked the part and we were attracted as much b the ambience as anything. It was only after... More

Two years ago whilst in Arras, we had a most enjoyable Sunday lunch here sitting outside in the sunshine and said that if we ever came back, we would try dinner here too. Well we ceratinly weren't disapointed. There were 5 of us (4 adults and one child (13)) last night (19/04/14) and we were the only non-french people in... More

We had lunch in this restaurant on 27th of December 2013. My spouse and I ordered the lunch of the day (10,90 euros without drinks) and our granddaughter had a child menu (8,80 euro soft drink included). You could choose out of two entrees, two main courses and two desserts. They call it the Quick menu. All the tables of... More

Came across this lovely little restaurant behind the Town Hall after visiting the Xmas market. Friendly welcome and excellent good value meal (we had the foie gras salad followed by magret de canard) with a lovely Cahors to accompany it. Highly recommended.

Called in on a Friday evening and only one other english couple eating, all other tables had French people. Nice farmhouse style decor and helpful staff. A good menu of poultry and sausages, with meat very much in evidence. Main courses of beef, and a black pudding dish, Boudin, were well received and very nice. A lovely evening was had... More

We had been travelling across Austria, Germany and France for three weeks and we thought this was the best meal we had eaten- lovely situation, fantastic food and lovely staff. Forgot to try the kir violetta though so will have to go back!

We just loved this place, the Kir violetta was most unusual, the red check cloths set the atmosphere, full of french people. Food beautifully cooked and really well presented, we just loved it!

Food from Southwest France. It made a nice change from the other good restaurants we had tried in the town. The duck confit was lovely and crispy. Kir violette aperitif was good and different to the usual kir. Couldn't fault our meal. Nothing to dislike.

I dropped in for a meal to allow me to read a book. The duck was fantastic and the service discrete, it allowed me to enjoy a long evening reading. Well done.
