Lovely seafood restaurant

A few minutes walk from the railway station this is a very good choice if you are in the mood for seafood. An unusual starter of a soft boiled egg encased in a sesame seed (?) shell followed by moules frites (there is an extensive choice of sauces for the moules) and then a lovely creme brulée all... read more

I have been here before and this time it was yet again a great experience. We always have the Moules et Frites here as the choice is really good and the portions are very decent! Good staff and quick service. It was so good that we did say we would return the following evening, she promptly reserved us a table... More

The food we had here was very good and very fresh. We had a seafood platter, a grilled scallop and a fish choucroute (sauerkraut). It was all of good quality, and went well down with an excellent bottle of Chablis, well worth the few extra euros than the house wine!

We went for lunch on a public holiday (11th November) and the restaurant was busy but we were well received and a table was found for us without fuss. We both had a copious bowl of mussels which were delicious followed by equally generous sized desserts. Although the staff were very busy the service was excellent and we were made... More

We came upon this delightful restaurant quite by chance and were bowled over by the place. It's unpretentious, serves delicious food and is reasonably priced, given the quality of the food and the size of the portions. It was heartening to be the only non-French diners. We started with a delicious seafood gratin served piping hot in a mini-cast iron... More

Went here on a soaking wet night in October and were welcomed by friendly staff who spoke excellent English. I noted that popular dishes were the oysters or mussels . Much as I like both opted for a roast seafood starter and a skate that was extremely thick and had been filleted. Excellent , never seen any ray filleted. They... More

Visited this restaurant by chance one Saturday night Wonderful enormous kettle of spicy mussels washed down by very good local beer. We requested two lobtsers for our next visit. They were very, very fresh and tasty They came with salad and a bowl of chips We had the Chablis wine to accompay the meal, which again was excellent. The staff... More

This is predominately a fish restaurant however there is a reasonable number of alternative courses so very good for fish diners with non-fish eating partners. Food is excellent and a haven for mussel lovers - even the starter portion is large by most restaurant standards and prepared any which way you can think of. Prices are reasonable and service is... Located close to the train station we stumbled upon it whilst walking to find a place to eat for Saturday evening. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked, but we persevered and went for lunch the next day. The sea food platters (build your own) and main fish courses were superbly cooked and well presented, with a good dessert menu all... More
