Worth a visit

Slightly away from centre of Arras so has to work harder! It does this successfully . Excellent selection of seafood at reasonable prices. Mussels are particularly good. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Place can get busy so consider booking at busy times (Saturdays, high season etc... read more

Five if us visited this restaurant after a recommendation by a taxi driver and we all had a wonderful meal. The starters we had included fried prawns, baked seafood and oysters all were excellent. We all had fish as a main course, skate and sole but for meat eaters there was definite options. We had a very good bottle of... More

The restaurant is set out like an upturned boat, with lots of nautical gear to match, but somehow not tacky at all! Good atmosphere, friendly service, English language menu if you must. I had oysters (delicious) followed by a bowl of rich, thick fish stew - a meal in itself. The restaurant is just off the main squares, but still... More

Went to this restaurant after reading trip advisor reports and we were not let down. The food was excellent as was the service. The lady who served us (I think she was one of the owners) spoke very good English and was very helpful, very bubbly and really seemed to be enjoying her work. Such a pleasant change from most... I have been here before and this time it was yet again a great experience. We always have the Moules et Frites here as the choice is really good and the portions are very decent! Good staff and quick service. It was so good that we did say we would return the following evening, she promptly reserved us a table... More

A few minutes walk from the railway station this is a very good choice if you are in the mood for seafood. An unusual starter of a soft boiled egg encased in a sesame seed (?) shell followed by moules frites (there is an extensive choice of sauces for the moules) and then a lovely creme brulée all washed down... The food we had here was very good and very fresh. We had a seafood platter, a grilled scallop and a fish choucroute (sauerkraut). It was all of good quality, and went well down with an excellent bottle of Chablis, well worth the few extra euros than the house wine!

We went for lunch on a public holiday (11th November) and the restaurant was busy but we were well received and a table was found for us without fuss. We both had a copious bowl of mussels which were delicious followed by equally generous sized desserts. Although the staff were very busy the service was excellent and we were made... More
