Stumbled upon this place by accident and we are very pleased we did. Friendly service, great food and good value. With a small menu you know you are getting freshly prepared dishes and Couleur des Champs did not disappoint. Clearly this place is popular with locals and as such the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. A very pleasant couple of... More

Went for lunch on the strength of reviews and while the food was reasonably good it could have been better. Wine list while small was good value. Service was extremely slow even by French standards.

Just off of the main square in Arras the food here was of a high standard and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and attentive, place clean and comfortable. Some good "plat du jour" options too.

A great little restaurant; so pleased we found it! Tucked away from the main square this is easily accessible. Really welcoming, friendly proprietors - made us feel like one of the family! Outstanding food - easily one of the best meals I've had out for the quality of food and taste. Lovely house wine. Very simple menu, but easy to... More

My wife and I ate here twice. The menu is limited, and there is a set price for each of the three courses. A winning formula in my opinion, as the young couple who run the restaurant can concentrate on the quality of the food, which is good, unpretentious, French fare. We had lunch and dinner there. The mid-day '... More

We booked this restaurant because when we called for a reservation and explained I was a vegetarian who did not eat mushrooms or peppers, the lady on the phone had no problem with that. We arrived and she knew who we were and I felt I had the best veggie meal I have ever had in France. The atmosphere was... More

Possibly the best meal we have ever eaten - my wife and I both agreed. My starter of prawns in whisky was followed by pork mignon in a cheese sauce, and then brioche perdu. My vegetarian wife went for crunchy egg starter, cheese salad main course, and the gourmet coffee ( a selection of 3 small desserts served with a... More

I wouldn't have known of this place had it not been for Trip Advisor - and what a find! I carried out a 'recce' in mid afternoon to find it was closed. But I telephoned and in somewhat poor French I reserved a table by answerphone! I turned up with a friend at 20:00 hrs and was very warmly welcomed.... More

The restaurant was not very busy on a wet Tuesday night in November, but the service was warm. The menu is limited, but all the food we tried was of a high quality, quite different from that you get in the chains. We enjoyed andouillette of a fine flavour, the cafe gourmand and an entree of smoked fish. The beer... More

This small restaurant was very quiet when we visited in August but it deserves to be much busier. The owner was very friendly but not intrusive. The menu may not be as big as others in Arras but the food is freshly cooked and very nice. The options are a little lighter than the norm, with less cream and not... More
