Unexpectedly good.

We looked at reviews on TA for a restaurant in the area. It was a Tuesday night and as now out of season, very quiet. A lot of places were closed so was happy to find this one open. As soon as we got inside I knew this was going to be good. It filled up very quick and that... read more

the street was empty--it was Monday, nothing was open except this restaurant---completely full, noisy, so much atmosphere, open grill...only by showing our 'gite' card did they give us place! We ate grilled salmon a la plancha, on a real ardoise planche, good food, very nice service, table side, slightly pricey but worth the experience

My wife and I chose to dine at this restaurant on the strength of TRIPADVISOR reviews and we were not disappointed. Whilst the food was palatable, well prepared and presented it was not exceptional. However, the overall atmosphere of the dining area in the canopied courtyard and the friendly, efficient service made for a good dining experience

Loved this restaurant. The food was great, but the courtyard atmosphere made it truly special. Service was attentive. The night we ate there it was filled with French......a great recommendation.

We went to this restaurant after reading the TA reviews and were not disappointed. The outside didn't look very appealing but we were lead through the inside restaurant space into a lovely canopied garden area. The set menus seemed good value and the service was friendly and prompt.

This place has a lovely courtyard where you can eat in the summer. It is extremely pleasant for a relaxed evening and very atmospheric as it is in a very old house. We really enjoyed the athmosphere and had a great night. The food is ok, not amazing, but fine. Staff is very friendly. The place can get very busy... More

Chose the restaurant thanks to TA. We got lucky that a reservation just got cancelled so we had a spot on the charming terras (would advice to make a reservation). We had a delicious meal. You can have a 3 course menu for 22, 28 or 41 €. The service was fast and super friendly.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, and myself and two travel companions were not disappointed. A typically French restaurant, the service was good and the food was excellent, I had the 22 Euro set menu and the duck for main was beautifully cooked. Very little English was spoken but we managed very well with our 'basic' French. The... More

Best meal we have had in France. Huge entree, real tasty, brilliant! We had a beautifully cooked tender steak with vegetables, and the vegetarian spaghetti, both perfect. Very reasonably priced meal and wine. Very happy to recommend to fellow travelers. Did I mention huge meals?! A big thank you to the restaurant :-)

Lovely place, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Aveyronais style meat cooking over the spit, splendid food, faultless courtyard ambience or vaulted cave.
