Excellent place for a long lunch on a rainy day

The restaurant was recommended by a local, and it appeared to attract a mix of locals and tourists. It ticked all the boxes, offering good food, attentive service, and a nice atmosphere. Luckily we arrived early because it filled up quite quickly.

After an extensive search round the town where we found only restaurants doing Euro food. We found this little gem on our first night in Gerardmer. Service was good and the food delicious. Contrary to previous comments I did not think there was any suggestion of frozen ingredients. Food was tasty and wholesome and the Alsace white wine very drinkable.... More

Very friendly atmosphere. Good food and service, had to wait ages for a table even though we'd booked in advance

Food was really great and reasonably priced. The bistro has a nice atmosphere and was busy. The service was a little slow

It's a nice pkace, a little bit dark but you are warmly welcomed. I had an impressive fisch selection: huge portion and tasty. He had a simple piece of meat which was average. Try it!!

Took me AGES to choose from the menu, all sounded good and was very reasonably priced! The presentation of the dishes was worthy of a high class restaurant and tasted very good. If you've never tasted a Croucroute de la Mer, try one here! Book your table as was very popular!

If I wanted to eat frozen food, I could I saved money and eat at home. A french restaurant should offer fresh food especially when they have mussels, fishes, and meats on their menus. Even with complaints, they didn't even care and did a commercial gesture. They don't even make good "monaco" drinks! Despite a beautiful environment, it was loud... More

On our way back to Holland we enjoyed a fine dinner in this restaurant. We both took the menu; I chose fish as a starter and main dish. Both were lovely and very light. Service was great during a busy evening.

I simply liked the place. Modern environment and great food! The 3 of us enjoyed this little gem. My husband had Mustard moules and he said it was soooo good. I had some fish and mys sister had the seafood choucroute. We all shared a dessert because we were all full...but still greedy for a last course. Prices were also... More
