Traditional with Italian influence

Nice setting in the terrace, with basic service (i.e., paper napkins), service seemed rushed but correct. The EUR35 menu includes 3 courses, with excellent choices. The "Para Negra" was extraordinary.

Over priced, small quantities. Shame, a lovely setting let down by food that didn't offer value for money. Maybe we chose a bad day, however with the choices available locally, we won't be back to find out.

We chose to go here due to the menu, which sounded good, the main draw being the swordfish. However, the swordfish just did not taste right, not to say it had gone off, but just not right; previously frozen perhaps? The 'tiramisu' was in fact sponge fingers with cream, not soaked in wine/coffee, and nothing like tiramisu. We do not... More

Charming little restaurant run by a lovely couple. The menu is creative and exciting, their service diligent but not intrusive, and the ambience very inviting. The outdoor tables are set in a delightful little courtyard with tables dressed in shades of pink. I had the stuffed courgette flowers for starter. Beautiful! My partner had fresh sardines which were amazing! For... More

We were delighted to find this hidden walled ´garden´eaterie having been disappointed that the restaurant we were apparently booked into by our hotel did not actually exist any more! Delightful hostess and presentation but not all our dishes which were Italian in style, were as good as they should have been although my husband enjoyed his augergine starter. Generally underseasoned... More

Every morsel was great. The setting was wonderful.. The chef, Matteo, and his wife Aurore, could not have been more charming. I, especially, am not easy on restaurants, but my wife and I walked away thinking how lucky can we be to have found this place.

We had an excellent lunch on the lovely patio. The food is italian/french and Matteo is a great chef. Fabulous saffron risotto with mussels and an excellent charcuterie plate with fresh melon. Aurore is a great hostess and suggested a new wine that complimented the food well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Villeneuve.

I had dinner at La Table while staying in Villeneuve. I arrived by accident because the place looked very pretty and the menu attractive. Im very glad I did. I had an exquisite suckling pig which itself is worth a visit. Great service, nice menu, beautiful setting. Great dining experience!

Arrived to be told there was a reduced menu. Little did we know that the reduction was so severe that in fact there was almost no choice. Of the six of us, they could not accommodate anyone's first choice in the menu. The food when it arrived was mediocre. Fois gras which had obviously come straight out of the fridge... More

Service was average, but very good at explaining the menu in English. Excellant food. No salads. Dessert must be ordered early, waiting to after dinner greatly limits options. Alacarte entries run €20-30. Very enjoyable setting.
