Having eaten there many times before in previous years we went to celebrate my daughter's 21st and I was deply deeply disappointed! Some of the 'experiments' such as smoked duck with mustard and hazelnut ice-cream for starter just didn't work! Only person happy with their starter ordered scallops (hard to go wrong on that one!). Then many of us had... More

We had to try this restaurant after reading reviews and discovering Pierre, the chef/prop, had won the French version of pro Masterchef. We were not disappointed. It was packed on a Thursday lunchtime but, somehow, service was rapid. There were only two choices for the main course on the set 23 euros menu - cod or beef. All six of... More

A fantastic ambiance, friendly attentive staff with amazing food for a great price. Lovely wine too. I emailed the day before to ask if a vegetarian option was possible for my friend and sure enough, it was expected and a beautiful main course was presented to her. We will definitely be going again.

We recently ate lunch at La Maison de Petit Pierre - the quality of the food was excellent, the service very good and the value excellent. Pierre was so kind to leave his kitchen for a photo with us!!

Came here from Cannes especially for this restaurant, on our way to Spain. We have watched Top chef and were mostly impressed with Pierre. My husband is a private French chef, and absolutely wanted to eat here. So we arrived early from our hotel, and not yet being open, ordered an aperitif. The Rose wine was excellent. We ordered a... We have wanted to visit Chef Augé's little gem since 2010 when we cheered for him on Top Chef. When he won the 2014 Top Chef award, we knew we had to get there. Now we understand what the judges were really experiencing. Chef Augé has a disciplined hand and delivers a wonderfully approachable atmosphere and pricing. During our visit,... More

Very busy on the Friday lunch time we dined there. Wide choice on the menu freshly cooked. Service friendly and speedy, but no pressure for the table. Separate dining room downstairs for large group and delightful patio area for summer. Wine list extensive and reasonably priced. The star for us was without doubt the olive oil on the table. I'm... Went there with family while staying in the South of France. The food was delicious in the main and the service excellent. Portions were on the small side- and not cheap. The wine as one would expect was superb. The food is presented in a creative way using local seasonal produce. The waitress could even speak English and helped us... More

We were staying in the wonderful Le Presbytere in Thezan les Beziers. The was nowhere available to eat in that small village so we drove into Beziers. La Maison is good, in fact it's very good. My French is atrocious and I definitely lost out in understanding what was on the menu despite the efforts of some of the friendly... More
