A very good brasserie with a view

Very good produce, very well prepared, served professionally, priced fairly, in a restaurant with a great location and view. What more is needed for an unreserved recommendation? Indeed, nothing!

Colleagues in Paris took me to this place for a dinner. It's in a suburb, I would never got there myself. The brasserie is on a square with a beautiful castle, and under the square there is a big underground parking. The food quality was very good, but I cannot estimate value for money. They serve fresh seafood. The place is... More

I visited on my own after a long business day. Seating is quite mixed with long bench seats along the wall and individual chairs on the other side, making it hard to be separated from other diners. The restaurant prides itself on seafood. The main dishes with piles of oysters, lobster etc set on top of a mountain of ice... More

We have been going to the Brasserie for quite a long time now. The restaurant is consistent with the quality of its food, and the location is of course amazing. During the summer, make sure you book a table on the terrace. Not cheap, as for a 'normal' dinner (main + dessert + bottle of water + bottle of wine),... More

St. Germain-en-Laye has for many years been the place I choose to stay when on business in Paris. It is just 15 minutes by RER from La Défense and under 30’ from the various French banks’ headquarters in the 9e. But it has a charm, poise and personality all its own – the magnificence of a former royal city, and... More

What should I start with? Food - NOT good at all, we had the seafood platter and it was disgusting to the point that I was sick after dinner. Appetizers were not great either, same for the dessert. Service - Awful. Server took forever to bring us the menu and take the order for our drinks. Overall a big disappointment.... More

Excellent location, next to the RER metro station and in front of the historic castle. Making a table reservation is advisable. Elegant setting with a white linen tablecloth and linen serviettes. The food was good but not the “event” of the year though the prices are quite high. We paid for starter/ main/ desert + 1 glass of red wine... More

We enjoy this restaurant regularly before an evening at the theater with friends. The fare is good traditional and plentyful. The oysters are excellent in this season and the calf liver not overcooked. We never had a bad experience there.

I called had a reservation for 2 people. I called them back in order to add 1 other friend to the reservation and heard a guy shouting behind the phoen and saying that it was not a party here. I asked so to talk to him in order to understand why! The only thing he was able to tell me... More

Last time I cam here, the service and food was less than satisfactory. As I was colleagues for this trip, I decided to give it another go. I was pleasantly surprised: although the decor hadn't changed, the servoice and the Chef must have. Good food and the ambience was pleasant. It's right next to the RER, so if you are... More
