We planned a special excursion to St Germain en lay just for this restaurant - Irs an added bonus to see the castle lite up in the evening. Alors- the chef Francis waited on us and greeted us warmly, We started with a lovely amuse bouche of soup that was so wonderful I wanted to pick the tiny bowl up... More

From the welcome they got it was obvious that several fellow diners had often been there. Whenever I go, however, I feel that the meals are really rather average. There's quite a lot of choice at each course, but with prices at €16 (starter), €26 (main) and €15 (dessert) I always feel somewhat disappointed by the quality. It's OK at... More

A pleasant surprise in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (first time there). Very good quality of food and excellent presentation of dishes. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 40 minutes for the dessert, which ruined the perfect lunch... Anyway, I would definitely recommend it for food lovers and for a gourmand experience.

St Germaine En Laye is a wonderful place to stay on the outskirts of Paris near to Versailles. Large selection of very good restaurants surviving on local trade rather than the tourist trade, and therefore relying on their reputation. This restaurant was our favourite when we were lucky enough to live in St Germaine 10 years ago and we were... More

We've had dinner here on various occasions and have never been disappointed. Food is highly original and service very friendly. Wine is always good and the owner is always willing to accomodate childrens' special needs.

We have dined here on a few occasions and I must say that it is the best restaurant in Saint Germain en Laye in my opinion. The food and service were both of a very high standard. We were really impressed with the quality and taste of each of the 3 courses we had. Simply put, absolutely great!

I hadn't been back to this restaurant for 10 when we went to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with our children last week. Our table was waiting even though we were a bit late and I appreciated that. The proposed menu was varied and the first courses and entrées were both delicious and beautifully presented. The only bemol was the... More

Francis Poirier, the head chef and owner has been for the last 20 years true to his mentor and makes the most wonderful French cuisine. Another wonderful address in this very pretty French town

I visited this place couple times which is already information that I think that ratio between advantages and advantages is in favour of advantages :) Dishes are innovative and very good. Service is really very good. Wines are tremendous, really really very good, I have difficulty to find good wine in Paris from months and in this place I am... More
