A local institution, on the decline?

This restaurant has a very loyal and ancient client base, with the elegant Neuilly-sur-Seine "Marché" neighborhood. It offers traditional "Brasserie" type dishes and classic service. I eat there twice a year and in the last two years have noticed a change in the overall quality of the restaurant. The usual waiters, same friendly welcome and of course the lamb "gigot",... More

Maybe it was an off night, but our experience at this "classical French restaurant" (and expensive) was unpleasant. Even though one friend had some French and we were very polite, we were basically ignored with the exception of the essentials like taking the order. And, they got my husband's order wrong. When we pointed this out, in a pleasant manner,... More

This restaurant was recommended by trip advisor and I'm glad I took the advice and went there. The food was excellent and the service very good. It was a pleasure to eat there and the staff were friendly.

The place is known for its lamb a discretion. It's a cozy place for business or leisure with a good service, being friendly and efficient. Starters were ok, with high quality ingredients (eg salmon tartare), but lacked innovation, being neutral in taste and for the eye. Main was lamb, being very well prepared. Again, as side, I would expect more... More

Had the good fortune to be hosted by Parisian business associates and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Impeccable service, delectable lamb (hand carved at your table), accompanied by delicious white beans, finished with the most amazing eclair I've ever had in my life. Casual elegance, delightful meal. Seriously, have the chocolate eclair - complete opposite of an American eclair - thin,... More

This is the best lamb Gigot I ever had. They prepare and cut the slices in front of you and they add nice white beans (perfumed with duck fat). You can eat as much as you like, they'll serve you as many times as you are hungry. It's a nice French Brasserie, an excellent place to have diner any night.... More

This ancient and well preserved restaurant is an historic spot for your fine dinner in the area. Focused on traditional French food, the restaurant proposes a superb "gigot d’agneau" (lamb leg) and a large choice of sea food, together with escargots and other traditional French options. Desserts are recommended: l'ile flotante and the eclaire are a must!

I have been to this restaurant a handful of times for the last couple of decades. The ambiance, food and service never misses. I love the clientele who are well heeled locals and business people. Have the seafood to start and then the gigot with beans to follow. Never disappoints.

Went as part of a large party of around 20, limited menu, starters oysters or salad, all agreed good, main was duck or salmon with an alternative of lambs kidneys, again good as were the deserts. The service was brisk, and we felt a little rushed. As English was a common, but not first language for many in our group,... More

We were once again drawn like magnets to Sebillon for lunch on our recent trip to Paris. It is near the Bois de Bologne where we were heading later for the Lois Vuitton Fondation. We did not book as on our last visit there seemed several empty tables, however this time we were lucky to squeeze in. Again we could... More
