Dinner

The restaurant is in walking distance from La Défense .(30 min or 2 metro stops) and offers good quality. Compared to meals I tasted in India I found it tasty but missed the little extra touch the wow effect. The rice with vegetables was excellent and we ate it up all.

I have, over my 3 years of living in Paris, visited Ashiana several times, with friends, colleagues etc. Paris isn't an obvious place for good Indian food, Neuilly even less so. However, Ashiana doesn't fit with the theory. It has a fairly extensive menu and the food is cooked the way you like it. The staff are courteous and the... More

One of the best decorated Indian hotels in Paris. Excellent ambiance and authentic food. The waiters speak both French, English and Hindi so you wouldnt have any problems ordering those dishes with a complicated name or requesting the spice levels. The quantity vs price takes a small beating however, at the end of my meal I was satisfied. I was... More

The ambience is good. Proximity to metro. Are some plus points. The food is good. Considering the price very average tastes for the price it comes. the dishes were not of the type that you may wanted to order again. Service have to improve a lot. We found this restaurant by chance, and to keep it brief the food was excellent, well cooked and delicately spiced. The service was friendly. It is however overpriced, and charging € 14 for a tandoori paneer, 5 cubes plus onions is extraordinary. We were actually wondering if paneer is a rarity in Paris? In summary, yes recommended, but be prepared... More

Ashiana was our regular place when me & my team was in La Defence area for over 2 months in 2013. We visited this place on an average 3-4 days a week. our team tried almost all the dishes on the menu. Our favourite was the Kulfi which is served as dessert. Te food is well cooked and can be... From the Latin quarter to Neuilly is about a thirty five minute metro trip, but every minute is worth it for dinner at Ashiana, an Indian restaurant which has been serving gourmet Indian food since 1986. I've been from one end of India to another several times and dip in and out of the many Indian restaurants in Paris, but... More
