Good French food

I've eaten here thrice. It's a jolly good place for a business lunch, especially when it shines! The location couldn't be more perfect; It overlooks the river. The last time I went there, I have had Foie Gras for the entrée, Salmon for the main course and Baba au Rhum for the dessert. I found the... read more

This is at the end of the island with a car parker as it is a bit difficult to park here. Very popular with the locals. The food is outstanding.

Great arrival experience and location. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated at our table, lovely place btw. The service is horrible, but the food was good. The waiter was rude, impatient and unprofessional. He clearly hates his job and takes it out on his patrons, sadly, the gratuity is included. He doesn't belong in a nice restaurant... More

I have been a good two dozen times in this restaurant over many years. It is conveniently situated on Ile de la Jatte. an island in the river Seine in Neuilly/Levallois (the 2 suburbs share the island) just 10 minutes away from the Arc de Triomphe so still pretty central for Paris. Whilst not a "gourmet restaurant" the food is... More

I've been eating several times at Le Petit Poucet, let's be clear: the food isn't exceptional. But the location on the island and close the Seine river is great. Staff and prices are ok. Most of the dishes I had were just fine but lack of a fine taste. That's too bad because the setting is fantastic and it definitely... More

We were a group of 20 persons, but the reservation was made for 15. When we requested an annex to our table to adjust everyone, the waiter got agitated and refused to add an extra table saying that we should have made out the right reservation, and that though the table next to us was free, he couldnt add it... Enjoyed a very nice business dinner here with business colleagues. We booked a table on the terrace next to the Seine. The place quickly filled up with local Parisians which must mean it has a pretty good reputation. I had nice artichokes as starter and parma ham was good as well. Afterwards I had a fillet mignon and experienced with... More

This restaurant is located on the achingly chic ile de la Jatte. There is very little street parking so you will need to use the voiturier service. There is an enormous terrace at the back of the restaurant which is always busy so it's a good idea to book in advance. The menu is varied and interesting and the food... More

Located on Isle de la Jatte in Levallois, this trendy restaurant is located next to the Seine with a big seating area overlooking the water. The food is fresh and tasty. Excellent for a business lunch or a cosy meal with the family in the evening.

Went for dinner a weekday evening. as we arrived earlier the place wasn't busy but still couldn't get a table 'by the river'... by the end of the evening, as we left the place, it was very busy! Overall the food was really nice and good value for money (Eur 50 pp - went for the menu rather than a-la-carte)... More
