To appreciate this fabulous restaurant you have to consider the perfection of every product on the plate. Although some may questioned the value of such an expensive lunch, the sheer skill of bringing the best from every ingredient, balanced with delicate flavor combinations and visual beauty is seldom encountered. I only wish I could eat like this every day, my... More

We dined here 18 years ago - in fact, it was one of our first 3-Michelin star experiences. It was a spectacular meal and the service equally so. An experience we remember to this day. So, of course we decided to dine here again when we traveled to the area. It was a very nice experience but a much larger... More

Perfect service. perfect food. An all-round great experience. Obviously not cheap - but also not overly expensive in the scheme of restaurants this good. Seriously consider booking a night in their boutique hotel so there is no need to worry about transport. Very attentive staff seeming aware of every detail in the restaurant. Food was perfectly balanced and presented. Easily... More

In this age of molecular gastronomy/multi sensory cooking, I approach a Michelin starred restaurant that is new to me with some trepidation. Am I going to get food or a science lesson? There was no need to worry at Lameloise. The food was certainly creative but it was clearly recognisable as food - glorious food. And the service was of... More

I was in Nuit St. Georges, and on a whim, called up the restaurant to see if they would have a table for 1 for lunch. As luck would have it they did. It was a Saturday and I drove the 30 minutes to Chagny. The restaurant was quite full, and I was happy to get a nice table in,... More

A sublime dining experience. The food has evolved since the retirement of the eponymous Jacques but, if anything, it is better than ever. A very relaxed atmosphere too with all staff professional, courteous and engaging. The prices may look high but they represent great value for money.

Lunch menu. Every course superb and the best desert I've every had. Delicious food beautifully presented. Service of the standard one would expect. Excellent value for money. All in all, a memorable experience.

We had lunch here on a weekday and the restaurant was fairly full. We had the Menu Degustation which was Euro 195 for four plats plus bits in between. Eye-watering though that price is, one only has to compare with similar menus at 3 star restaurants in Paris, to realize that it could, theoretically, be called " a bargain". So...what... More

Michelin 3-star restaurants can be a disappointment - too stiff, overpriced, lacking charm. This wonderful restaurant gets it right in every respect. Genuinely friendly and charming staff who are peerlessly efficient. Fantastic, inventive food, every course surprised and delighted us. Expensive as you'd expect, but much less so than other restaurants at this level, and the - predictably huge -... More

We arrived on a rainy night and were greeted by the absence of Valet Parking, with no parking available near the restaurant. Surprising for a Michelin 3 Star rated establishment, of which there are only twenty seven in France. After a walk in the rain, our meal started with the L’amuse bouche, which was excellent. Next were escargots done as... More
