Being that Roscoff is a big waiting post for the ferry travelers all the restaurants will do well regardless of the quality of service/food-- looks like Halong wants to be good in spite of guaranteed customers. It was a relief to find this restaurant as nearly everything in Roscoff is crepes - no good for gluten free people. The staff were friendly and attentive and the owner spoke English, very welcoming and keen to please. The restaurant had a nice, simple oriental feel and not too overdone - very clean and fresh. Sat near the fish... More

Being a full-time student in UK (from Poland) can challenge my wallet at times and I can't always afford restaurants, especially while travelling. This was my first time in Roscoff and I was looking for a decent place to dine in with affordable prices the other day. I started off at the this little dockyard. Moving along I spotted a... More

My husband and I have eaten here a few times before & were keen to visit again when passing through Roscoff so I e-mailed the restaurant to make a booking as I thought Friday night in high season was likely to be busy. I received confirmation of the booking quite quickly. When we arrived at the restaurant for our 8pm... More

I ate at Baie d'Halong several times last year during November and December and always found the food to be quite good and the service prompt and attentive. Last night, now a Saturday in July, went there again. The restaurant was crowded and the servers a bit harried, and there was a brief wait to be seated with no reservation.... More

Well presented property and very good, imaginative, food served in a friendly professional manner. Clearly seeking out customers who enjoy their food rather than just feeding the tourists. A good find!

Well, what a find! It was the only place open when we went out late to eat on a Friday night, and we're so glad we found it. From the charming owners, French wife, South Vietnamese husband, to the extensive menu and delicious food, fragrant and beautifully cooked and presented, and the bargain of our trip away! To start we... More

As my wife comes from Roscoff we are often visiting family and frequently use this restaurant as it makes a nice change from traditional home cooked French food, menu is extensive and the service is great, certainly worth a visit if you're about, French Chinese food is nothing like English Chinese.

Quite a quirky restaurant, with some large fish tanks up on side of a long room. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. Big menu so will satisfy most appetites. The kitchen is semi open. Wine list is reasonable. Would go back as agood change from French fair.

One big problem in France, as my wife is vegetarian. This restaurant was very accommodating. They made up a dish expecially for her, which was not just some other dish without the meat. A vegetarian satay wityh sesame sauce. Superb! It suffers the same fate as most French eating houses though. A meal is what most Brits would consider to... More
