Outstanding location

We stopped here for a quick coffee after having had a look and taken a whole bunch of pictures at the wild coast - that is what the French call this segment of the coast - Cotes Sauvage. This restaurant is in a very nice, wild location of the coast and should definitley not be missed.

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst driving the coast road. We checked TA reviews and had dinner there and it was excellent. Fish soup, mussels, dessert, drinks for two for €53. The best mussels and fish soup we have had. This restaurant is well worth visiting if in the area. The location cannot be beaten either.

We started our meal with a dozen raw oysters. They were served with a mignonette sauce which was outstanding. The oysters were salty and delicious. Then we ordered Moules Mariniere with french fries. They were also outstanding. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. It is set by itself on a cliff overlooking the beautiful blue ocean. I wish I... More

... visit this nice little Restaurant 5 minutes away from Quiberon City Center (by car). It is located next to the sea and offers a wide sea view. They only serve seafood (no Fish and no Meat). Quality is good and very fresh. For this fresh quality it is not expensive. Service is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location on the "Cote Sauvage", small menu but perfectly formed, excellent service, both quick and friendly. The food is very tasty. I just cannot fault it.

From a distance the place looks a bit homely, more like a café than an actual restaurant. For luxury, go to Quiberon itself. The Vivier obviously does not aspire at a Michelin star, nor even at an illusion of cozyness. But while there is nothing posh about the place, it does deserve a recommendation for both the view and the... More

Right at the côte sauvage of west Quiberon, we arrived late after many detours on our road trip. We were hungry but wanted to catch the sunset at the same time, so we decided to give this place a go! I had the smoked fish platter while my hubby had the seafood platter. The service was swift, a very good... More

The best thing about this place is the view, especially at sunset. We found a hair on our glass and it took a long time to get served. The place was so hot, and no one opened the windows. However, The food is good and reasonably priced.

Being fortunate enough to live half an hour away from Le Vivier we can visit it regularly. I have to say that it is consistently good but the a fish restaurant which is run by fishermen's families should be. For this reason you really do need to book at most times of the year, particularly as those who book get... More

A great situation overlooking the Côte Sauvage, where they serve simple fresh shellfish at very fair prices. Best to book to be sure of a table. The service is friendly & efficient and I very much appreciated the advice on the best way to get into a spider crab. The Muscadet was good too.
