We had a very enjoyable meal at good value. The starter of smoked salmon with salad was very nice and good value, if one were to complain it would be that it was too much! The fish soup was presented in magnificent way however the taste of the soup was not recognisable, as that of fish, a black mark. The... More

The staff were veryfriendly and the food great at good prices. We ate there three nights and chose the Menu de jour which was tasty and cooked very well each day.

This restaurant is amazing. We ate there two nights, both nights availing of the set menu @ around €34 for a three course meal and tea/coffee. The food is brought out quickly, freshly cooked, and tastes just fantastic. I cannot fault it. They have menus in english so there's no guessing what you might have ordered! The value for money... We were disappointed with our meal here, the clams and duck were over cooked, which is unusual in a French restaurant, the steak tough and the desserts average. It has a nice position; the service is good but the food at best average with above average prices.

I've eaten here before and had good memories of the food so we came here to celebrate my friend's 60th birthday. Luckily everything fell delightfully in place; great weather to sit out on the terrace, the service was good and the food delicious. The tuna carpaccio was especially worth a mention and the sole in brown butter very good. The... More

Two adults. Starters were fine - oysters, six, very good. Main course for me was a steak - very very tough indeed. Wife ordered magret de canard and was brought confit do canard. Not the same thing at all. So-called cheeseboard was three small pieces of very run-of-the-mill cheeses: Brie, Camembert and (I think) St. Paulin. Carafe wine (a 50cl... More

A cool relaxed atmsphere with good service, food and location right on the port at Benodet. Good young barman too, when we were there. We had lunch and dinner there and enjoyed both. Prices reasonable. Try it!

Sitiuated overlooking the seafront in Benodet, the Transat is focused on seafood, which it does well. Food was good and reasonably priced with many French present and very few English speaking - a good sign.
