Staying in Benodet on a family holiday husband and I escaped for a meal out and found this place a little off the beaten track in the town. Initially asked for moules frites but they were out of moules so we went for the fixed price set menu, three courses, and were glad we did! Grilled salmon coated in sesame... More

Found this place on Trip advisor and had goo reviews. We're on holiday at Point St Gilles and as we have teenagers like getting off site to explore and eat in local restaurants. Cafe Foutu has a great menu. 3 of us went for the 1 entree/1 plat (or you can have main and dessert) for €14.60. My daughter had... More

We were in Benodet on holiday the first week in June and discovered the Cafe Foutu almost by accident while walking around the town. It was jam packed when we walked past so, working on the old adage "never eat in an empty restaurant" we decided to eat there the next evening. There is an eat all you like fruits... More

Excellent on all accounts: freshly cooked and delicious seafood, reasonably priced menu with choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts, as well as a good a la carte menu, beautiful presentation, good atmosphere and friendly efficient service. Would definitely recommend and go back again myself.

I am not the sort of person that goes to the same restaraunt every night but in this case l made an exception and went back every night of my holiday, the food was excellant and the staff very freindly.

This restaurant has a good atmosphere, good friendly service and a wide choice of dishes at reasonable prices. I went there twice in 1 week and would definitely recommend it. I would advise that you book as on both of my visits it was very crowded.

This modern restaurant is set on two floors and was pretty full on the Saturday evening we visited. It offers an all you can eat fruit de mer buffet for €24.90 and this was certainly a popular option amongst the clientele. We, however, chose from the regular menu. My wife started with the fish soup and followed this with barbecued... More

A table for 6 on a miserable and rainy August day at 2 pm may at some places have met w itch a "non" but not at Foutou. Very friendly and the food was excellent with sardines as fresh as they come. Recommended and try the Provençal rose. Interesting decor too with lampshades from milk bottles and glasses and local... More

First visit produced good food, but rather slow service. Nevertheless, it was promising enough to warrant a second try. Anyway, we had to, because La Patronne is a local artist and we'd bought one of her paintings off the walls, and had to arrange payment and delivery. But that's another story. Majors on seafood, but does some good salads and... More
