The crepes here are different than the Breton crepes we had in Paris. The savory crepes are more like a large pancake with the savory item mixed in rather than inside a folded crepe. I had an asparagus crepe and my boyfriend had leek and cheese and both were delicious. I also enjoyed the dry cider with dinner.

The crepes here are excellent. They are made at a grille right before you, and they are really good. The prices are reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Les Tulipes has an original selection of savoury and sweet crêpes - and they taste (and look) fantastic. There's also a good range of salads if you can't quite manage a crêpe for your main course and dessert. With inside and outside seating in a quiet residential street, Les Tulipes is definitely worth the short walk out of Sarlat. Staff... More

We had a good meal at Les Tulips. I would prefer to rate this 3.5 stars. The kids rated it 4/5. The children were well accommodated and loved the Bolognaise crepes. The food was good quality. Our meal cost 150 euro for 4 adults and 3 kids which seemed a little on the steep side - but it was a... More

My husband and I ended up at this unassuming restaurant after being turned away from a couple of other restaurants. We were hesitant since my husband is not a crepe fan...let me rephrase that, he was not a crepe fan. Not until he bit into his first real crepe. It really was wonderful. And the service was great, very helpful... More

We found this place by chance as it was just beside our hotel in a little street. We had a lovely dutch pancake lunch outside on the terrasse, shaded by the trees. The menu is varied and each dish is beautifully prepared and tasty. You can have savoury or sweet fillings and also typically dutch little cakes which are delicious.The... More

Strange? Perhaps, but when you have children, nothing is more relaxing than this affordable restaurant in one of the loveliest medieval towns in France. There is lots of choice, from savory to sweet to satisfy the most fussy eater, (Bolognese went down especially well with the five children in our party) and being a quieter night at the beginning of... What a gem! Nestled outside the main city center (shopping and dining areas), this place made my husband and me very happy. Generous Dutch pancakes that were absolutely delicious as well as every kind of sundae you can imagine for dessert. Les Tulipes was comfortable, affordable and unpretentious. We sat outside in their lovely garden area with tall hedges that... More
