interesting experience

When I think about "Crepes", I have the taste of Brittany (Bretagne) in mind. So I was a bit sceptical about "dutch" crepes. Well, it was a nice experience. First, the staff was very kind, giving suggestions and the food was good. We tried the crepes as well as a salad, which was fresh and nicely... read more

Great place to eat at when you're tired of the hustle and bustle of Sarlat and want a quiet meal. Fantastic goulash followed by a crepe which was generously drizzled with Grand Marnier. A little out of town but easily walkable a great find.

We visited twice during our weeklong stay in Sarlat. First time we sat outside. It was early in the evening. We both had crepes which were plate sized and seemed to be double layered. Plenty to choose from, absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. The host was attentive, helpful and friendly. My husband went on to have the profiteroles... More

Served crepes which were dry. My friend ordered iced tea, it came in a can. Maybe breakfast is better.

Really friendly, well run restaurant in a quiet area of Sarlat. A lovely Dutch Style Pancake house with a varied menu to choose from all served in a tranquil location. Highly recommended.

The meals are reasonably priced but it seemed strange being in a crêperie in France that was Dutch! It was too hot to sit outside so we opted for the shady interior. At first we thought it would be a good idea to sit near the place they cook the crêpes but we moved because the cooking odours were not... More

Finding typical American-type breakfast was a real challenge in France - often only pastries are available. So 5 of us friends/family thought crepes would be more of a typical pastry-type food. But surprising for us - this place had a great variety of crepes covered similar to pizza - e.g. meats, veggies, cheese, etc. on top of the crepes Large... More

We wanted a fast, light lunch. This place was perfect for that. We each enjoyed a crepe. The one with smoked salmon was excellent; the blueberry/cheese combination on the other was not the best match.

The crepe was, as a previous reviewer says, like a large pancake with the ingredients sandwiched between two layers of batter. Unless this is a regional variation, it's a rather battery experience where the ingredients are overwhelmed. My smoked duck and asparagus crepe was too salty and the meat was dry - not helped by the lack of asparagus -... More
