Once again, seafood was the star, with a delicious tomato sauce for the St. Jacques (scallops). Our waiter spoke excellent English and was very helpful and friendly.

Went off the previous Trip Advisor reviews on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Rewarded with an excellent meal, with very attentive and helpful staff. Went a la carte and the food and wine was exquisite! 3 courses, good wine and coffee 100 euro for 2. And a good atmosphere. Seating both inside and outside. Speciality duck only menu 29euro looked... Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, mostly professional service. The restaurant is ran by a family, which makes it most friendly.

Came for dinner, sat outside under a large umbrella; this place is located up a side street and was recommended to us by our hotel. It was getting towards the end of the tourist season and there were only 3-4 tables of diners; by 8.30pm they were looking to close up! We had the 4 course 35.95 euro set menu... More

La Vin Au 10 is located on the edge of the beautiful medieval old town portion of Sarlat in the Dordgone and Lot region of France. My sister had researched the area and made reservations there for our first dining experience in the area. We were not disappointed. The food and service was absolutely fantastic. And, since the terrace is... More

My husband and I decided to eat here our first night in Sarlat based on Tripadvisor reviews. What a mistake. We should have been forewarned as this restaurant was empty while every other spot in town was filled to overflowing. We asked to eat inside, as it was late and a little chilly out, and we remained the only diners... More

We stayed in Sarlat-la-Canéda for a week and soon found ourselves looking for places that weren't the normal duck and foie gras! Le Vin Au 10 has a different menu, with lots to choose from. Fresh and perfectly cooked scallops, tender beef and truffle butter, wonderful cheese and desserts. The service was fantastic and was refreshing that they had an... More

Although we did not have a reservation, we received a warm reception and were seated immediately. The terrace was already full, but we did not mind sitting inside. The wait staff were very pleasant, offering English menus when I said that my "francais est tres mauvais". We ordered the truffle menu, and it became obvious that I was confused about... More
