We had a wonderful time, the lady who served us was very friendly, we tried to order in French (which did not go very well) but she understood and spoke English :) the salmon, beef and duck were very good, and the veggie ravioli was exquisite! Good service! All dishes with local products which was very nice. We would definitely... More

My wife and I chose L'instant Delice for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. We had a set priced menu and each of our choices was excellent. Presentation of the dishes was excellent and the taste fantastic. Highly recommended. We had a table inside but in an open window/doorway which allowed air flow but prevented smoke drift. Minimal... Nicely located in a pedestrian zone, sitting outside was very pleasant, marred only by the many flies. Although the restaurant does offer the obligatory foie gras, we had a vegetarian menu that was a delicious switch. The service was reasonably friendly. The coffee was under par.

Had the regional set menu for 16.90 euros, excellent quality and value. Lovely setting amongst the winding medieval streets of Sarlat. The duck leg with a creamy sauce was cooked to perfection and the goats cheese with honey and walnuts was delicious - it just works !!!!!

As there are 180+ restaurants in Sarlat choice for dining is not an issue. This restaurant is frequented by locals and tourists alike and when we departed after an early meal there were no available seats. Food was well presented and promptly served with attentive service. Great value with plenty of options for dining.

Went here for lunch on the recommendation of Trip Advisor. Were not disappointed. Food excellent, service fine. Both of us had ravioli, one with truffles, the other with celes mushrooms- both delicious. Walnut cake, the local favorite, for dessert. Highly recommended.

We ended up here on a Monday night in December when most restaurants were closed in Sarlat. We expected it to be a bit too touristy for our standards and were not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly but the food was barely average. The foie gras terrine was ok, but the meat was full of nerves and hard... More

Excellent menu choices with just enough variety for everyone's tastes. The expected regional specialties including truffles, foie gras, confit du canard, and walnuts are heavily featured but there are also other options if you're tired of those. The hand-made stuffed ravioli was delicious. We've been to this restaurant a couple of times and have never found it lacking. The restaurant... More

This restaurant, like most in the Perigord, specializes in Cuisine Traditionnelle du Périgord, dishes based on duck and goose. If however these dishes are too rich for your palate, this restaurant offers other options. My choice a dish of Ravioli filled with Cepes was melt in the mouth, delicious. The other diners in our group chose Perigord traditional dishes and... More
