Quite Delicious

We had an excellent lunch, and it had an assortment of options for those whose time in Dordogne has led to duck-burnout. Good services, and a nice breeze at our outdoor table, made people watching a pleasure. Definitely would repeat.

Our meal at this restaurant was good, but not outstanding. Our main courses were duck confit and Cassoulet. Both were nicely prepared, but neither shone as a memorable meal. Service was friendly and informal. This restaurant will definitely do if others are booked, but would not be our first choice for a nice meal in the center of town.

When we arrived, we were greeted (and I use this word for lack of a better one) by a harried young woman with no smile. We asked (in rusty French) for a table for 2 for dinner. She seated us without a word and then got us two menus which she dropped on the table. The menu was completely in... More

Looking at other reviews on this restaurant there seems to be a divide between those who had a good experience and those who didn't. Sadly we fell into the latter category. The actual restaurant seems to be in two settings, the main attached to the kitchen and a sort of annexe on the other side of the passage. We were... More

Everyone was happy with their meal. The duck confit was amazing. The ravioli was also very good. Some excellent non regional wines. Service was very friendly. Nice atmosphere and lovely old stairway leading upstairs to toilets.

we opted to take the €17.90 menu which included a salad with 3 specialties of the region, confit de canard. Desserts chosen (also included in price) were chocolate cake with soft center and creme brûlée. Loved the foie gras served with salad with a kind of jam with nuts on the side. The confit de canard surprisingly was delicious fried... More

Our first night in Sarlat, and it was great to have a lovely meal at this restaurant after a long train trip. The service was very good and the waitress very helpful with our very bad French.

I strongly recommend to avoid this place. We where seated and asked to move shortly to accommodate a table for 6 which was not a problem but service started to crumble when we had to ask for water a couple of times and cutlery. Starters was served without cutlery same for the main course. They overcooked my pan fried foie... More

At our first night we went to the old city of sarlat for dinner. We took place at the terrace, cause of the sun and the small streets, the walls gave their warmth at night and it was to sit here and watch people searching for a place to eat. Great menu, great value, friendly service. Would recommend it.
