Good food, which again would rate a higher grade in the UK, given that the food is generally so good in the Dordogne. Friendly service. Wine a little pricey.

Everything we ate at this restaurant was amazing especially the garlic soup! The service was excellent and the owner was fully engaged in joyfully serving her customers. You could defintely tell that she is very proud of her restaurant!
Purely went by previous comments here on TA and couldn't fault the Cassoulet.....really would have been better eaten on a cold wintery night, but still loved it on a 28c day....service was fairly good....nice greeting by owner (we think) but didn't spot her again....luckily we arrived just before a huge group of tourists who were lead upstairs.....we would have stayed...

We went here on the recommendation of our hotel, and were pleased to find it in a less touristy part of town. It was encouraging to see that the downstairs was packed and most of the diners were French speaking, another good sign.

We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next night. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and fabulous food! We tried a variety of dishes and wines and each was perfect. My compliments to the owner, Rachel, and her wonderful staff for two meals I will never forget.
When we entered La Petite Borie we were greeted in the warmest and friendliest manner possible, something you really don't take for granted when you bring both your kid and dog in tow! The genuine and down to earth service made for a really comfortable evening. We chose the set menu, something that we normally don't do as often it...

Very welcoming waiter in this typical French brasserie, hosting toursits & locals on the day we were there. Had an exceptionally good value for money "menu" and the children were well catered for, too, with a lollipop after lunch for "good kids only". Fois gras was outstanding, as was the duck leg & confit. Find your way to this charming...

Took the 18 euros menu decouverte, great flavours, good service , will visit again. Huge salads as an alternative looked great too.
My wife and I spent close to 4 weeks in France last summer. We liked all of it. The people, the food, the difference between regions, historic sites, etc.
The only bad restaurant experience of all that time was at 'La Petite Borie' in Sarlat.
The service was both pushy and surly, from the maitre d' hotel and the waitress....
