We ate here as a group of 5 on Saturday 5th July. The staff were very attentive and friendly despite being very busy. We all chose from the EUR 19 3 course menu - there was plenty of choice and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. A great end to a great holiday!

More style over substance . Had the goats cheese starter, lots of lettuce and filo pastry, tiny bit of cheese . Steak was the chewy and tough. Service slow and very snouty. Very expensive compared to others in the area

My wife and I were looking for a place to have our evening meal on our first night in Sarlat. We looked around and settled on Les Chevaliers de la Tour based on location, menu choices, patronage and attitude of the Waite staff. We chose from the mid priced (14.90€) set menu. You get to choose one each of 3... More

There are definitely many restaurants in Sarlat to enjoy Foie Gras fortunately for us we happened upon this one . Highly recommended also for their cassoulet. Indoor or outdoor seating available . Excellent service .

Great restaurant with exceptional food: duck gizzards salad, duck breast, goose, etc are beyond competition. Also, strawberries from Perigord known as the best strawberries in France with fromage blanc make delicious desert. we were sitting on the upper floor, and it gave us medieval feeling: the ceiling, decorations, windows, etc. The place is small, so reservation is recommended. I certainly... More

Our family of four, very much enjoyed this restaurant, in Medieval Sarlat. We chose from the E14.90 menu, and we're treated to tastes of the region. this restaurant does serve a lot of duck and foie gras, so if you are looking for burgers etc, forget it. We had entree, main or plat and desert. the food was simple but... More

The food is pleasant but not exceptional. However it is a lovely building with both inside and outside space, the staff are friendly and it is well run. In addition the prices are reasonable. You can have a pleasant meal here for a lot less than many of the more expensive restaurants and the food will be as good.

This was a delightful restaurant in the medieval part of Sarlat with views of the walls. It was a lovely fine night in an otherwise rainy week and we ate outside to get the real atmosphere of this beautiful city. The service was excellent and very friendly and the food was very good even though we'd ordered from one of... More

At 11.5 Euros for 3 courses one would expect small servings of average food and that's what we were served. Forgot to do my homework on Trip Advisor otherwise we wouldn't have tried this restaurant. It was a quiet Monday night, not many of Sarlat's 90+ restaurants were open and Les Chevaliers certainly presented a charming exterior. You can do... More

Sarlat is a very special medieval city. No matter if its your first time or you've been many times it grabs you. Finding the right restaurant is a challenge - many good many not so great.
