We live in the Dordogne and have eaten in many of the restaurants in Sarlat. This however was not a pleasant experience. The food was ok and good value. The service was so fast it was like being in a fast food restaurant. The waiting staff were almost running around the tables in an attempt to get people fed and... More

I visited the restaurant with two families. The service was very child friendly, but the price and quality did not match. Afterwards I found out that a meal was double charged. The restaurant did not respons on a refund request. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We were trying to grab a meal at 9:30 and everywhere else around the area was not serving and the location was nice in the centre of town. The food was OK when it came but the service was very good. Would I rush back no, but if it was later on in the evening I would definitely pop back.

With so many restaurants in Sarlat it can be hard to make a decision. So, after walking by Gueule et Gosior the night before & earlier in the day we decided to go there, but just our luck, it looked like it was closing. The owner came out and said he had another restaurant a few blocks away and escorted... More

I have to admit, I was very much expecting this restaurant to be your typical tourist trap, but we were so hungry when we came across it, we did not care. The servers, however, were extremely friendly, and I was shocked when I actually saw a vegetarian menu... in Perigord (bonus points)! Service was prompt, and the presentation was really... More

We went to this restaurant without reading any TA reviews and had a fine meal. We had foie gras and it was tasty, coq au vin which was average and a good dessert. The service was very good in nice surroundings. So we would go again.

Our first night in Sarlat after arriving late in the day we went out without first checking Tripadvisor; major mistake. I never thought that you could make a bad creme brulee, only a not so good one. Theirs was inedible. Do McDonalds before you eat at this place!

Things weren't great from the beginning...we should have left before ordering. The table was dirty and there were holes in the tablecloth. The starter was fairly unappetising so I gave most to my husband. Then the mains arrived. My husbands duck was green which they tried to persuade us was blood. There were also big dirty fingerprints around the plate.... More

I'm only ten, I didn't think I had been naughty but my parents took me here(but now I know). I had never written a review but this one was so teribble I had to warn of overs. The staff put no effort into helping us and were rude. There wasn't a rating low enough. The food was some times tast... More
