A good experience.

An interesting combination of French/American food. This place is modern with both eating area and bar area. Also open a lot more than some restaurants in Brantome. We opted for the French food and both had magret de canard. (€16.50). Probably the biggest duck breasts we have ever eaten. They were... read more

This is a very lively place with a great choice of food. It is run by an American lady so you have the best of both types of cuisine. Friendly and enjoyable.

The only place in Brantome that we could find affordable food, albeit limited. The owner extremely rude and the rest of the staff not much better. When I asked the owner for a menu and the wi-fi password he replied by saying "Can you not see I am very busy dear..do you have any more questions?" He then began to... More

To run a restaurant and bar is hard work, to make it a success , even harder. To give into tiredness and frustration from running that business and take it out on your customers..bad move. We will not go back there again, and we have already told friends of the rude attitude of staff.

We only went to Le Coureur Indien late in the evenings. Great bar atmosphere, comfortable seating, nice staff. They seemed to have a good menu for lunch and dinner, but we didn't try it. We were happy to find a place to relax at the end of the evening.

This place was always open when we visited Brantome! The owner and staff really worked hard at all hours, providing quick, efficient, and friendly service. There was a huge screen with World Cup games on, and there were always people (usually locals) having a nice meal or casual drinks. Many shops, restaurants, and cafes were closed on certain days, but... More

From the outside this place looks inviting, modern and serving a different sort of menu. However from the moment we entered the waiting staff/barman acted like we were putting him out just by asking for a table. This was lunch time and there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant so they were hardly rushed off their feet. Drinks... More
