i visit the resterunt twice, and it was delicious on both times. all the sea food is very fresh and made perfectly
I thoght, that such behaviour is not found anymore. Unfortunatelly, it is exactly there. After 1 hour some us got beer, some of us got St.jacques after 1,5, while other got main courses with sea food plater. And if You think, that You have a right to complain - forget it!! Waiter is the King! In our case- princesse. Brings... More
We all enjoyed our long lunch on this nice stretch of beach. Nice casual atmosphere the staff were helpful with my GF and dairy free meal request. Would not hesitate to visit again, get a table at the front.
Not always you get the chance to just walk in in to a first restaurant you see and get satisfied with everything. Well, this is the case where you are lucky. The waiters are smiling and friendly with everyone, especially with foreigners, and most of them can speak english. In summer there is a big veranda with heaters working every... More
In 2011 I had a lovely meal at this restaurant, but in 2013 the quality proved terrible, at an extremely high price. I ordered a grilled whole fish, that was brought to my table in 5 minutes. I suppose one can rejoice for the fast service, but it was obviously reheated, tough as a rock and the sad looking potatoes... More
We chose this place randomly and we were not disappointed. We had oysters and a fish soup, the latter was slightly watery though. Then we took seabass for the main: super fresh and melts like butter in the mouth. Dessert was decent: chocolate fondant and a creme brulee. The restaurant was fully booked, there was a fantastic atmosphere and our... More
''Lobster'' 1/2 tiny and stale. NOT AT ALL from the ''bassin but a sad canadian copy. The scallops on the ''sole'' were the same but they smelled strong. On top of that. A VERY VERY boring menu with ZERO imagination. But the WORSE: ''La ronde des crevettes '' (something like that)... Now, you are in Arcachon, the ocean is right... More
In town on business my colleague and I walked to the restaurant from our hotel. There were three places right in a row and we chose Diego Plage based off that they had more options on the set menu then the other two. It was a very nice night so we sat outside. The place was busy with almost all... More
Diego at La Teste was an excellent restaurant, however I am lead to understand Diego has changed hands therefor not at all the same quality as the old Diego, now that they are on the sea from
Good food and service. Very busy place. Seafood was fresh (a lot of turnover). Yet you are clearly paying the seafront premium and there's better a couple minutes walk away.
