We sat outside in a nice table facing the sea and enjoying the view. Unfortunately the food and service didn't match the nice atmosphere. We both ordered seafood platter to start. We didn't get the feeling they were fresh from the sea. My partner found a "living thing" from his oyster and showed it to the waitress, without saying anything... More

Great staff. Awesome setting and tasty, unpretentious food. My only regret—not going for the seafood! Doh! Apparently it's their specialty. Instead I opted for lamb shoulder (which was delicious) but the portion was erring towards ungenerous. I would have liked to have seen some green veg included in the kids' menus too. There was nothing bad about my little boy's... More

Has changed ownership recently, I believe. Service welcoming and attentive. Caters for families, couples singles old and young. Very good seafood at a very competitive price. Grills and deserts were excellent. Not as crowded as some on the promenade. Has service all day and staff appeared very accommodating.

We've been to Arcachon many times and this is the second time we've eaten at Diego Plage. The setting - by the promenade overlooking the Bassin d'Arcachon - is beautiful. The food has the usual assiettes de fruit de mer in various combinations, many piled high. We had the menu at €26 and very good it was. Madame had a... More

We started off by asking in French for an English menu, which they had. They were extremely friendly to us even though we were ignorant Americans and didn't know how to eat the food. The waiter half-jokingly helped me figure out how the seafood platter was supposed to be eaten, and the food was great. The salmon was cooked perfectly... More

We had a really good 3 course meal from the set menu at 28Euros. . The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday night in February but the weather had been good and it was the end of half term. The Seafood platters looked excellent but pricey. The more expensive menus mostly included oysters which we don't eat but , in... More

I thoght, that such behaviour is not found anymore. Unfortunatelly, it is exactly there. After 1 hour some us got beer, some of us got St.jacques after 1,5, while other got main courses with sea food plater. And if You think, that You have a right to complain - forget it!! Waiter is the King! In our case- princesse. Brings... More

We all enjoyed our long lunch on this nice stretch of beach. Nice casual atmosphere the staff were helpful with my GF and dairy free meal request. Would not hesitate to visit again, get a table at the front.
