Underwhelmed by the overall experience

This review is based on the 40 EUR evening menu (plat - dessert). We picked this restaurant based on the previous reviews. The average rating is based on the overall experience. During a short break at Arcachon we booked a table for two, based on the nice reviews on TripAdvisor. Even if the weather was a bit chilly, we chose to stay outside, which is normally the option offered to people without reservations. We took the 25€ menu, which looked as good as the 50€ one, only with less fancy ingredients... More

We had a very nice experience at this restaurant. Julien himself made sure that we got settled in and got everything asked for. After a lovely, reasonably priced meal we asked for some GOOD red wine. Got a Moulis and loved it. They gave us the rest of the bottle for free. Got to love that

This restaurant is definately worth a visit. They serve fairly traditional French food (foie gras, veal, etc), but cooked really well and quite often with a little twist. We had a chocolat dessert with some kind of creme fraische mousse with dill! Interesting! The most expensive menu is about 50 euros, but there are less expensive choices. The only complaint... More

We were recommended this place by the receptionist at our hotel who told us the chef has a Michelin background and it really lived up to expectations, great lunch, fantastic value and beautifully cooked.we went back for dinner which was good as well but more expensive-relatively, still great value. You just never find this quality of food in a holiday... More

Great food and service. My fish was cooked perfectly, and the beef dish my girlfriend had was one of her favourite dishes in while France.

We arrived without a reservation but were found a table with a little juggling - others were turned away only minutes later. The restaurant is quite small and most of the seats seem to be on the pavement so you have to take your chances if you're a non- smoker. There is a good price menu of the day but... More

You can not visit Arcachon and not visit this restaurant. The special menu changes every day and 3 cources for 22euro is not be missed. All food is freshly prepared and wonderfully presented. The guys in the restaurant are so friendly and have such a passion for the food they serve. Good wine list also and something there for every... More

We tried lots of restaurants in Arcachon. Most were not very good. This one, however, was great. Fun atmosphere and good food. There was a very limited selection and it is very French. It was freshly prepared and presented beautifully. Make a reservation. They are full every night in busy season, but you can make one the night before for... More

This was a great place for a very satisfying meal. The menu was very interesting with very stylish touches. The 22 euros three course meal was a good choice. There was even an amuse bouche. The usual local food (magret de canard, confit...) was presented imaginatively with unusual spicing and interesting combinations and there were some less common items, especially... More
