Always the same good standard in service and food.

An excellent location and this time we had a window with the sea view and not the ice rink!! We had a great fish meal, always the same reliable menu to choose from. The place is not high design and the vast number of tables gives the Impression of a Canteen - Spanish Style. But the Staff is very friendly and you come here for the Seafood. That is just glorious: fresh off the adjacent Sea it appears. The most staggering is the Seafood Platter: it is so good you envoy enjoy squirting... More

You like seafood? Go! You like oysters? Go! You like pata negra jambon? Go! You like lobster? The best you can imagine at the plancha. Forget the frame. Ask a table at seaside, enjoy the food and wine. Feel the salty waves. Service fast and sympathetic. A place to visit, to enjoy, to like. A real recommendation to go. And... More

Huge restaurant. With such a beautiful view over the ocean and the Adour estuary you would hope for a nicer decor. Service is industrial, canteen-like. Our starters - éperlans frits (whitebait) where ok, but some were really too big for whitebait. The oysters were not served on ice and were therefore much too warm. The grilled sardines were good. Portions... More

We were suggested this place by our b&b hosts. We were first not really convinced as this is the restaurant of the ice skating hall. But our surprise was great as the food was super fresh and nicely done. We had oysters and mussels as a starter then entrecôte and Merlu for the main. Dessert was Basque cheese and creme... More

The grilled sea bass is always excellent. Seafood is always fresh but try to get a window seat, the Bay of Biscay at sunset is superb.

Quite shocked after reading many good reviews on this restaurant decided to try, and I was shocked it was so bad, really not sure how on earth a specialist fish restaurant could be so poor, and how, what i suppose you would call the maitre de could be so unprofessional, this lady should be ashamed! We had ordered starters, which... More

we were looking for somewhere to celebrate a b'day and saw this place the day before, having gone for a wonderful walk along the seafront from biarritz. it was packed for lunch and on having a look inside we were immediately taken by the sumptuous choice of seafood, so we decided to book for the following day. we were not... A friend from Anglet invited us to join her at this lovely seaside restaurant. Our appetizers were mussels and a salad....very good! For main course, my wife had langoustines while I had the faux filet, both accompanied by a great baked potato swimming in butter. Delicious warm baguette, good wine and a crème brulée to die for!

I lived for many years with my parents in Anglet and we often ate at La Concha. Last weekend i returned for the weekend now in my 30's and took some friends for a meal there. It has not changed, the food is exceptional. Stick to their specialties (although everything is good) - the gambas to start, and the legendary... More
