Authentic atmosphere near the upper "main gate" entrance to Riquewihr. Limited wine selection, but a lovely place to catch your breath, have a snack and glass of wine and enjoy the scenery.

This pub / restaurant is one of the few places open after 2pm to get a bite for a late lunch. We got there at about 1430 and they were still serving tarte flambé which were fantastic. We ordered the ham, cheese and escargot- they are very filling. Not cheap at €12 each but lots of topping and very filling... More

Just had some wine here. Nice located beside the Dolder gate. Not really my thing but don't want to judge too hard as I didn't took dinner.

Had a quick lunch while visiting Riquewhir on an excursion from a Rhine river cruise. The town was jammed, and we had to hover around a table waiting for the occupants to finish up and leave. Once we got seated (outside), the service was decent, and the food was good.

had some drinks here and it was very busy. the waitress was friendly and very efficient. it may be that they suffer from non-payers on a regular basis as they ask (nicely) for payment as soon as you have been served. my wife and daughter thought that the female toilets were a bit more basic than normal.

We had a couple of drinks in the terrace. Attractive location next to the gate on the main street. Friendly service, lots of shade on a Sunny day. The only drawback was staff smoking on the terrace, so we had to move a few tables upwind.

This is in city center and easy to find for tourists. In high season the restaurant is fully booked and busy, so beware of reserving in advance during Xmas market time. Even though very popular I was not fully satisfied with the taste and quality of the food offered as our party tried flammenkuchen and pasta. Quantity high. Price level... More

We are always on the hunt for good coffee, the French haven't got the flat white yet, but the cappuccino is the closest to it and this place makes a nice cappuccino. The service was as usual good. We didn't try the food as it was too early for lunch. We also went for a walk around the town which... More

Took a bus from Colmar to Riquewihr. Fast and cheap. Walked about the darling town and took a million pictures of the bell tower (1290's) the ramparts and old walls and wine presses. Vineyards surround the entire town. Very beautiful day and town. Decided to try one of the main drag restaurants and chose Le Medieval because it looked inviting... More
