Surprisingly good food in a more traditional setting

We enjoyed our dinner here this evening just returning from Italy where we enjoyed the gourmet food. My wife had the menu and I had a starter and a main course. Starters were really great and surprising in flavor. The main courses were good but more traditional (as could be expected). We had an... read more

We took friends here the day after Christmas and were very disappointed after reading the good reviews. There was no atmosphere, the place was nearly empty, and the food mediocre at best, apart from the foie gras starter. The vegetables had obviously been microwaved to death. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and for the hard of hearing person in... More

Order the Foie Gras Maison. It was the best thing I ate in a week in Alsace. We had an absolutely divine meal here. The Escalope Munster was perfect but the portion was a bit large so I didn't eat it all to have room for dessert. The wines were local and heavenly. Unfortunately this restaurant is on a side... My young family and I sat outside last week for a meal. The service was excellent - very friendly, and the food was pretty good. Decent portions and well cooked. The Knuckle of Pork was particularly good. The staff are good fun - the chef was rapping to my young girls at one stage!! Nice beer, lovely location and good... More

Waiting 90 minutes for a main cource, 2 of 4 plates with cold meat (should have been warm) asking and asking for ketchup several times without getting it. The only thing that was high was prices.

We had a nice dinner. Restaurant is modern decorated and nice food. Not expensive but also not cheap. The red wine was served too cold. Service was perfect.
