Superb location to have dinner. No large choice, but good quality instead. Only one disadvantage: you have to book well in time; at least one week ahead. But it is worth doing so!

Well, this was the best start of our holiday towards the south of France we could have imagined. A small restaurant, only 25 places, nice and cosy. One sits a little close to one another, but that don't bother us much. Made us think of a Lyonnaise bouchon, mmm, even classier. They propose 1 menue up to 5 courses, which... More

We had three courses with wine and beer, all top notch! We reserved a few days earlier and once we arrived, our table was the only one not occupied. The menu was varied without being cluttered and the food was good quality, cooked superbly and we had a great evening. We will return next time we are in Mulhouse.

This was our second visit to Chez Auguste. The menu was the same but there were additional options available. As we had chosen the menu at €25 the first time, some of us went for the "Plats du Jour" this time round. Starters were delicious and beautifully presented (soup of Jerusalem artichokes and chorizo, Pleurote mushrooms. My husband particularly enjoyed... More

Chez Auguste is a small place and we never would have known about it if it wasn't for Trip Advisor. We both enjoyed our meals there very much and it is a bargain at 25 euros for a three course meal. The owner was very friendly and helpful with the choices. We would recommend this small and cozy place to... More

We eat here recently after reading the many reviews and were not disappointed. The service was excellent with a very attentive young lady serving us. Food was delicious and fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back. It's advisable to make a reservation in order to avoid disappointment

We reserved at this restaurant after reading the comments on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The meal was delicious and beautifully presented, while the service was friendly, efficient and timed exactly right. With the full menu being good value at 25 Euro (starter, main course and dessert), we were also satisfied with how reasonable our total bill turned out,... More

Travelling from Paris to Italy with a break in Mulhouse... decided to use Trip Advisor to find a restaurant in the town, did the research and booked a table at Chez Auguste. Arrived just before 8pm and had a choice of tables, shortly afterwards the place was full, always a good sign, so would advise to make a reservation. The... More
