Definitely the best restaurant in Mulhouse - The only cheap fine-dining option in town !

Well, everything has been said in the title of my review, but here come some mre details about Chez Auguste. The food is just amazing. Chez August proposes a fine dining menu that includes only fresh, seasonal products, blended together to create fabulous fine-dining meals. The concept of how-to-turn-simple-ingredients-into-a-super-duper-dish is just magical. From the starters to the desserts, everything is... More

We turned up at an empty restaurant waiting to be seated for sometime. Interesting menu, and tastefully decorated place. But then again we had to wait for sometime to be attended. The waiting just went on an on. Finally after 3 hours we managed to settle the bill after queuing up at the counter. I simply have the impression that... More

an outstanding little restaurant with charming staff and a small but mouth-watering menu. The prices are extremely keen, portions excellent and the quality of the ingredients clearly very high. 10€ for a large glass. of Gosset champagne set the tone! The 25€ set menu is a bargain. I cannot recommend this place too highly. a great find.

Superb location to have dinner. No large choice, but good quality instead. Only one disadvantage: you have to book well in time; at least one week ahead. But it is worth doing so!

Well, this was the best start of our holiday towards the south of France we could have imagined. A small restaurant, only 25 places, nice and cosy. One sits a little close to one another, but that don't bother us much. Made us think of a Lyonnaise bouchon, mmm, even classier. They propose 1 menue up to 5 courses, which... More

We had three courses with wine and beer, all top notch! We reserved a few days earlier and once we arrived, our table was the only one not occupied. The menu was varied without being cluttered and the food was good quality, cooked superbly and we had a great evening. We will return next time we are in Mulhouse.

This was our second visit to Chez Auguste. The menu was the same but there were additional options available. As we had chosen the menu at €25 the first time, some of us went for the "Plats du Jour" this time round. Starters were delicious and beautifully presented (soup of Jerusalem artichokes and chorizo, Pleurote mushrooms. My husband particularly enjoyed... More
