Full of locals - usually a good sign

On our first night in the area and we needed an evening meal. There's a good choice in Propiano, ranging in price from budget to moderately expensive. A few places were deserted at 2000hrs, others buzzy and full. We had the last table outside at L'Ambata. Soon there was a queue. The menu is varied... read more

We were warmly welcomed for lunch by the young and friendly staff and were given a nice table with direct harbour views. I ordered a tartiflette and my wife mussels .We ordered two cokes for drinks and were given two small tins and large glasses , it would have been nicer if they had poured them for us. My wife's... The manager greeted us and we ordered a couple drinks. The food was very nice and the open air to the sea is amazing. They were very kind and... More

The staff here work hard to ensure your needs are met. The menu, although simple, is extensive with choice for all. Very good wine list. Views of Propriano and marina make an excellent backdrop to your meal.

We walked in off the street because the smells wafting out were irresistable. And justified! Good italian fare at reasonable (considering location) cost. Open air terrance looking over the port. Price 22 euros/person including wine.
