We took the advice of previous comments and it was really great, you should reserve in advance to guarantee a place since it is a small restaurant, I would prefer to eat there at lunch time and watch out cuisine closes early for lunch at 13:30 as most of the good places : )..Great food..go for it!

Went twice on our holiday. The first time was very good. Good food good service. Couldn't fault it. The second time, not so good. It was much busier. Our order was taken promptly but 2 couples who came in after us had their starters and mains before we had our starter. Waited 30 minutes between finishing the starter and getting... More

You could easily miss this little gem of a place but we were so glad we found it. The food is lovingly prepared and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the food so much that we ate here on a few occasions during a 2 week stay in Calvi. The menu list is not too extensive but what they do is prepare... More

We found this restaurant quite soon after our arrival in Calvi - but sadly allowed ourselves to be put off by the lack of diners every time we walked past. On our final evening we felt sorry for them and decided to put our faith in the Tripadvisor sticker in the window... What a great meal we had! And what... More

Don't let the outside appearance of this restaurant put you off. With no outside seating and no fancy illuminations, let the food do the talking. Every dish we ordered could not be faulted. Octopus salad starter, lamb main and duck main courses (both served on sizzling platters) and desserts of ice cream with hot chocolate sauce and a local cheese... More

It was a disappointment, sadly. We picked it carefully, after reading a good few reviews of restaurants in Calvi. This was our only chance to eat out and we really wanted it to be special. Looking at the sparse menu, we said "YAY!" Everything looked wonderful and the small room ambience was perfect. We ordered (3 of us) sardines, anchovies... More

A lovely lady , who is also a painter, is the only person who serve in the restaurant with only 24 seats. It will be difficult to jump in , so reserve before. Try vegetables beignet ( fried with a pastry) hot and really delicious. Continue with fish with caramelized sauce and finish with melon , honey and mint. It... More

Just the best! This tiny place is totally unassuming and is run by a Corsican lady almost as though you were entering her own home. Everything is freshly cooked and dishes are quire simple but truly delicious. The menu is not particularly extensive but there is enough variety to suit most tastes. The sardines and the duck are particularly good... More

Small but cosy restaurant, one lady doing all the serving - limited menu but all good options. All freshly sourced Corsican produce and cooked to order. Really generous portions. Would highly recommend the grilled sardines. Great value too - and something a bit different to the restaurants on the quay.

Recommended to us, we thought this was a great little restaurant with fabulous fresh sardines. No outdoor tables but the atmosphere inside was friendly and accommodating. Try it!
