Our hotel owner recommended The Nest and we are very glad that he did! We were greeted by a very helpful and friendly man on the door who provided us with info about the restaurant and places to see in the area. Instantly we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Meals were very generous in size and packed full of flavour.... More

Ate here after a recommendation in our guide book. The food provided was reasonable 'mass produced' greek food. Not unpleasant but far from excellent. The Kleftico in a clay pot was tough however the chicken souvlaki that we also had was well cooked.

Buy a juice - or go 100 m up the hill to The Mills if you want some greek food that's newly prepared and eatable - this is not !!

We have been visiting Ios for years but had never visited the Nest. What a mistake, lovely traditional Greek food, huge portions so be very hungry!! Chicken souvlaki was delicious as was the Kleftiko. Desserts on the house and the local firewater ;). Well worth a visit.

We had a big group of people celebrating a 50th birthday and The Nest was really accommodating. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely (and very patient with us!) The best authentic traditional greek food we found on the island.

I had grilled chicken which came out on a massive plate with chicken rice salad chips and tadziki and bread so there way alot. They also gave us coconut cake on the house.... More

By far the best Greek restaurant in Ios and possibly the most authentic and tasty Greek food I have ever tried. I ate here on most of my nights at Ios and highly recommend the stuffed tomatoes, Chicken Souvlaki or the Kleftiko. The Mousaka is also very nice. Great service, great atmosphere reasonably priced amazing food. Also have a great... More

I was surprised than the restaurant before the season was almost full. Now I understand why. We've got a delicious, simple and fresh food. Service despite the large number of visitors was very efficient and friendly. The second surprise came with the bill - for the large dinner with wine for 4 people we paid 60 euros - about 20%... I had read reviews of restaurants before going to Ios but we were not greatly impressed with The Nest - the only meal we didn't really enjoy on our week long trip to Ios. It's in a nice location in the tiny streets of Chora Old Town but food-wise, not atall memorable.
