Took my son for lunch....he wanted the ribeye steak but was disappointed to learn that they had run out....it was midday!! He had the rump instead....I assumed that the chips were home made, only to be told, they weren't!!! It also looked as though the peas we're out of a tin! I had the belly pork, which was delicious but... More

We decided to try this pub again after 12 months going elsewhere. What a disappointment we really wanted to make this work! We had to send the steak back as it was inedible. The replacement meal was ok but very average. The quality of food is not good. Again there was no New Zealand Sauvignan Blanc on offer an omission pointed... More

Visited The Red Lion for lunch today with my husband. The pub is located in a picturesque village and itself is characterful and charming with plenty of outdoor seating to front and rear. Really pleasant inside and out. We chose to eat outside. The menu was varied and in my opinion prices were very reasonable. We both ate the same... More

Visited a couple of times now and had decent meals on both occasions. Cannot be described as anything but pub food but was tasty enough!

Beautiful pub hidden away. Have been many times with friends for food. Staff always friendly and polite. Food pretty good, but seems to have lost the edge it had over other pubs in the locality. Starter and pudding were both ok, but probably not as good as 12 months ago.

I've visited this pub on a regular bases for years but don't think I will be returning. The last couple of visits I've noticed a decline in the quality of food. We went for a friends birthday so we booked as historically it's often busy but we needn't have bothered it was relatively empty. We each had a starter and... More
