Visited The Red Lion for lunch today with my husband. The pub is located in a picturesque village and itself is characterful and charming with plenty of outdoor seating to front and rear. Really pleasant inside and out. We chose to eat outside. The menu was varied and in my opinion prices were very reasonable. We both ate the same... More

Visited a couple of times now and had decent meals on both occasions. Cannot be described as anything but pub food but was tasty enough!

Beautiful pub hidden away. Have been many times with friends for food. Staff always friendly and polite. Food pretty good, but seems to have lost the edge it had over other pubs in the locality. Starter and pudding were both ok, but probably not as good as 12 months ago.

I've visited this pub on a regular bases for years but don't think I will be returning. The last couple of visits I've noticed a decline in the quality of food. We went for a friends birthday so we booked as historically it's often busy but we needn't have bothered it was relatively empty. We each had a starter and... More

The quality of the food is inferior to our last visit last year. The chips were tepid and were replaced too late for us to eat with our meal. They were of poor quality. The 'salad' consisted of lettuce leaves which looked rather ancient plus two quarters of tomato and that was it! The remainder of the meal was ok... More
