Spent the final evening of our holiday here because the reviews were so good and I must say that we weren't disappointed. The food day of a good quality and service was very good. If you choose to eat outside you are on a fairly busy Street with lots of pedestrians walking right next to your table (and a few... More

We ate here twice during holiday, with our children. They were happy with the pizza and lasagne, but for us the attraction was a more varied and interesting menu of pasta dishes and 'mains' (meat, fish etc), that included many local ingredients (such as lake fish) and dishes. Excellent food, great service, very friendly and accommodating. Pricier than many of... More

We ate here twice in a 4 day stay - if we had discovered it sooner we would have eaten here every night! The food was beautifully cooked and imaginative. Swordfish carpaccio with berries was delicious, as were the prawns. On our second visit I had horse tartare - apparently the first English woman to order it - with artichokes... More

Went 2 this restaurant when first arrived at 22.30 were made welcome and had lovely pizza. Went back twice while we were there. Sea bass dish was one of the best . Other dishes were of a very high standard and everyone went out of their way to explain the dishes. Very reasonably priced

Had pasta & local tomatoes to start. Then had Risotto as a main course with a lovely bottle of Ripasso. Excellent meal. We ate here on 2 occasions during our week long stay. Great friendly staff also. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant after reading the good reviews and we are glad we did. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they take the time to explain anything you don't understand. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced, best of all they serve 1L beers! Well worth a visit.

Went here after reading the reviews and glad we did. We had just sat down outside when it started to rain so went inside and glad we did. Loved the interior. So pretty. We both had pizza which we loved and the wine was also lovely. Very reasonably priced.

We had a very good din er at Pipol. On the outside it looks a bit anonymous, but the dining room is very cosy (we went here on a rainy day). The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff spoke English well and were very friendly. Highly recommended in Desenzano!

Wonderful service, lovely outdoor seating, good, creative food. They have standards on the menu, but they also have interesting, fresh specials. I had a swordfish carpaccio with fresh berries and greens. Delightful! My husband had fresh pasta with mushrooms, which was good, but not as unusual as mine. Our server was wonderful, funny and engaging. The live music was a... More

My wife and I ate here one evening; this is a friendly and good value restaurant and we particularly enjoyed the pizza of which there is a vast selection. Very enjoyable
