Cascina Capuzza was refurbished to provide a simple yet well looked after place ideal for wine lovers and people who enjoy good food where it is possible to taste the wines produced by our family and also try traditional, local cuisine. The focus of the dishes created by the Cascina is on the goodness of the raw ingredients used; knowing how to select the right quality and seasonality is one of the most important tasks for a good chef. Traditional, local recipes (which are characterised by simplicity) are our speciality. The cuisine focuses on gourmet local products, with particular importance being placed on matching wines produced on the same estate. We only serve wines produced from our vineyards which surround our company. There are always various different “tasting” menus available, which include several courses and, of course, several possible wine combinations, we also organise tasting courses and themed evenings. The original building has two taverns, dating back to the 1400s, then in the 1700s and the 1800s extensions were added.Small rooms, porches, old stables and a large barn loft are now used as the dining rooms. During the summer it is possible to dine outside in the cool park under the ancient mulberry trees.

Yes it is a taxi ride to get here, but the food was exceptionally good. It was a special all in menu that was very reasonable. The kids could run off and play with the other children in the playground area, while we could relax and enjoy our meal. I wished we had allowed a bit more time - 3... More

We had a wonderful meal, starting with a welcome drink and snacks on the terrace. Our waitress was great. She suggested we take the set meal, but get 5 for our family of 7, which worked out perfectly. Food was delicious and there were very nice house wines.

I dined here together with a group of 37 visiting from England. It was the highlight of our week. Everything was superb from the welcome drink on the terrace to the atmosphere of the dining room. The service was always attentive and never intrusive. The food which is local and fresh was fantastic as was the wine, which of course... More

We got recommendation from our hosts in Agriturismo Armea. Once we got to the place, we were served with light wines and apritifs. We took some kind of tating menu that was very good, we took all, from ante-pasti, secundi (Pasta), primi (meat) and dessert. All were great. we had 3 glasses of wine each. We were 5 (2 adults,... We went to this restaurant twice, and really loved it on both occasions. The wine from the Selva Capuzza vineyard is excellent, especially the Lugana is terrific. The food is clearly fresh and locally produced. The salad, consisting of melon, fennel and cucumber is a winner, as are the olives and grana offered as antipasti before entering the garden of... The best meal we ate in Italy. Beautiful place, not a regular restorant give you a feeling that the chef love what he is doing. Give the nice waiter to choose for you what to eat. Fresh and organic place.bring the nature to your body. By the food 60 euro for everything Unbelievable!!! This Is perfect.

I did not used rooms, but had dinner in their restaurant. Excellent food, service, fair prices. No "touristic menu", but really excellent local choice of food. They serve only vine from their production, which is very good , charged retail prices...
